This hotel is not new, not old, not good, not bad, just a plain hotel without characteristics. It is very close to the underground train station, and there are several restaurants around. However, it would be more convenient for travelers to stay at downtown since there are also many hotels there with much better location and similar rate, unless you are here for joining competitions at the nearby stadiums, or you come here by car.

Great hotel close to the MRT
Close to the MRT, clean, friendly staff

This hotel was a nice hotel with friendly staff. The location was good, it was only a few minutes away from the MRT. Even though the hotel is on a main road, it is still pretty quiet.
The room was very spacious for a single.
It's convenient if you're going to Kaohsiung from Taipei by bus because there are the bus stops are outside the hotel so you don't need to go all the way to the Main Station.
I would definitely stay there again.
