A standard hotel in the rural area

We two people stayed in the quad room. Guess it'll be pretty overcrowded for 4 adults. Lots of Taiwanese food are available around the corner.

Blanket barely cover my toes !

This hotel is a No-No !! Got bitten by bed bugs on me and my friend's ankle area..till now after a week still have those ugly bite marks...
The blanket barely cover our toes and we suspect those bed bugs must have been at around the leg room area...

Convenient location but old

The rooms are kind of old but the staff are very friendly. They park your car for you and you can ask them to keep your keys. The interior is not very fancy as it seems to be a very old hotel. The location is very good, near Ximending which is one of the best shopping areas in Taipei.

Nice and fantastic hotel
Near public bus stop to kenting

the hotel and staff are nice and helpful, although they may not well know to other travel spot, but they still offer great effort to help us. the room is small but clean and tidy. the decoration is simple and stylish. the nearby restaurants have many cheap and yummy food.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go around 5 min can reach the public busstop to Kenting

address states that hotel is in kenting but its not. it is 10km away from kenting and requires a 10 min taxi ride. beware! other than that, the hotel service and facilities are good, clean and new.

Great hotel in a great little town
Availability of bicycles for free, small, clean, modern rooms

*we missed the stop for the hotel as we thought we were staying in Kenting. Hengchun is about 10km (?) before Kenting. Need to ask the bus driver (of the Kenting shuttle bus from Kaohsiung) to put you off there. We had to get a taxi back.
*The Riverside Hotel actually only has R Hotel on its sign out the front (besides Chinese characters)
*room and bathroom were very small, but clean and adequate
*free hot and cold water offered on each floor near rooms
* free tea and coffee sachets in rooms, and free bottled water each day
*very cheap to travel by Kenting shuttle bus to Kenting, and on to Eluanbi National Park
*free internet in lobby on 2 laptops
*free use of bicycles for use around Hengchun was a bonus
*plenty of shops nearby for food, but not for high class shopping
*night markets nearby
*breakfast was adequate
*we were glad we stayed at the Riverside (though disappointed at first when we weren't in Kenting)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Hengchun used to be a walled city. The "wall" is being repaired and besides the "West Gate" which you pass in the middle of the town as you head down to Kenting, the others are easy enough to find if you bike it around the place. Good views from the top of the wall of the nearby mountains.

Hotel super, tres propre et recemment renove.

Sejour de 4jours entre amis.
Chambre tres propre, un peu exigue mais confortable.
Staff parlant tres mal anglais mais serviable.
A 10 minutes de Kenting en taxi.

wir hatten ein ruhiges Zimmer zur Hinter/Nebenseite der Hauptstrasse.Freundliches PErsonal, kostenloses Wifi im Eingangsbereich(2PCs), kostenlose Fahrradausleihung, gutes Frühstück (Rührei, Speck, Suppen, Salat, Toast, Kaffee/Tee&Saft)

旅店蛮新，我们三人住四人房，感觉很舒適。
我们在weekday 入住，人客較少，很清静，但離開前的晚上是週六，
入住了不少带小孩的家庭，晚間十分噪雜。
早餐很不錯，就是picky的老妈也說好。
Restaurant Tip:
向北走两个block.便有一间素食麵店，旁边的“老婆的私房菜“也值符一試
