It was a nice stay with clean rooms.

The Stay at this hotel was good. The rooms are big and clean, value for money. Location was very near the habour and we are able to purchase tickets at a cheaper rate. the Dinner menu and breakfast menu from the hotel was good. However, they do not have any facilities and the staffs can be quite rude sometimes. Internet were only available at the lobby. Overall had a good stay. The rooms facing the sun moon lake was amazing and would stay there the next time i am here.

Very good location just in front of the Shuishe pier but the hotel has no car park you have to park at the nearby public car park.
The room has a strange smelly, and a bit old.

Great Location but washroom design kind of awkward

every thing is great, except that the design of the washroom could be improved.
the washing basin right behind the door makes it troublesome as one needs to close the door even when one is just washing hands. the flow of water from the tap makes extremely loud noise which is disturbing if room mate is sleeping.
the shower holder could be higher so that one can also stand in the tub to shower. most of all a shower curtain would be good to keep the bathroom drier after each shower.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Not necessary to ask for high floor for hotels facing lake. We were lucky to be allocated a room at the 3rd floor which gave us a perfect view of the entire lake just at eye level - a great way to experience the tranquil and peace of the beautiful sun moon lake.

Location is perfect, in the center of Sun Moon Lake, only 1 - 2 minutes walking distance to, Sun Moon Lake, bus stop, shops and restaurants. If you choose a full lake view room, you will get fantastic lake view even if you are on your bed. The only drawback is the room is quite small, your bed is just next to the door and the bathing facility is a bid strange.

Hotel is located next to the harbour of Sun Moon Lake. It inly takes a min to walk down to the harbour and the ticket to the cruise ride can be purchased over the hotel front desk.

Magical view of the lake!

We arrived relatively in the early evening at the hotel, and were thankful that we did not book the few that we had in mind at Itachao, considering that the ferry service stops around 1800. The hotel front affords a magical view of the lake (no sunset as the cloud cover was very low), though you may find your neighbours noisy since it is quite popular with large families. FOC wireless Internet access is only available at the lobby. If you plan to travel to Taipei thereafter, there is a coach that runs from the tourism centre to Taipei Main Station. Expect to set aside at least 4 hrs for the journey, depending on the traffic conditions.
Nightlife Tip:
Most eateries are closed by 9, so your options then will be either to make do with 7-Eleven and those eateries about 20 mins away in Puli. I will suggest to eat your dinner early, and wake up for the sunset (if you're lucky).

The amenities in the toilet are laid outside in the room, and noir hung provided for the soap. The toilet water is possibly sewage water, as it's abit black in color.

A good located hotel in Sun Moon Lake and just beside the lake itself. So, you can have a walk anytime along the lake. Since it is located in the harbor area, so it was quite easy to have access to foods, convenient shops etc. But, some travelers would said that there are some other cheaper and good hotel/guesthouse around the Lake. So, its up to you, which is your preference, guesthouse, motel, hotel...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Please note that most bedroom and bathrooms in the hotel are divided by glasses, so not that privacy while bathing in the bathroom...
