the location of the hotel is way out of the main central area where you arrive and take boats to other locations. it is also far from any eateries or convenient stores (basically at least a 10 to 15 minute quick walk). shuttle buses between the hotel and the main central area has to be booked in advance, and only arrives once every hour -.-
the view of the lake wasn't fantastic from my hotel room balcony as it was blocked by the two 5-stars hotel in front of sml hotel. i paid the room for a full panaroma view, but sadly i only had a small fraction of it. i wasn't very pleased with this.
the breakfast is ok... not too bad for a buffet breakfast spread. i've tasted worse elsewhere in taiwan, so this one was ok.
the rooms are clean though, so at least the basic expectation was met.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
start your day early at sml lake. there is practically no night life there! if you'd like be sure to visit yue lao temple on your walk back to the hotel from the main central area, if you want to wish for more luck in love. lol. the hike to see the sunset is also along that same stretch. worth climbing up at 6am in the morning.

雖湖景可能不若其他飯店，但環境清幽，房間內有和室，可於陽台遠眺日月行館及教師會館，整體感覺很棒，夜景也不賴。整體來說，CP值符合期待。

깨끗하고 시설도 새로운 편. 직원도 친절.
하지만 편의시설이 있는 곳에서 좀 먼 게 흠. 호텔 바로 옆의 호수를 끼고 만들어진 길을 따라서 5~10분 정도. 그렇지만 매우 깨끗하고 벌레도 없고 냄새도 안 나고, 욕실도 좋았음. 어메니티도 괜찮은 편. 아침식사도 괜찮음.

借了机车酒店可以停，全程有人指导应该去哪什么路线。位置不错离社水很近，还可以骑车去向山。日月潭除了景色其他都没什么好玩，所以租了机车晚上去埔里，有夜市有小镇比较有意思。

這次住宿剛好遇到施放煙火，它竟然就在飯店前的湖上施放⋯實在是太棒的景，
迷人的湖上璀璨的煙火就近在咫尺，仿佛被煙火圍繞著，真的美到無法形容。
