The hotel rooms are huge with a nice balcony, we booked a deluxe room which has over 80sqm with a fire place, the view was spectacular, don't forget to wake up and see the sunrise. We also tried the chinese restaurant which is great, the western restaurant was average, and the service was not as good, spa was expensive and just average, overall service of the hotel was excellent!!

Probably the best hotel you can find in the entire Taiwan island! Gorgeous location with beautiful architecture. Everything you can ask for if you are into peaceful and modern ambient. If you are a couple and are looking for something romantic, this is a must in Taiwan!

The experience is just wonderful. View of Sun Moon Lake is extremely perfect. The bed is comfortable. Hotel staff are very nice and they explained the facilities of the hotel clearly. Room is very large. Overall it's just amazing.

Great thanks to all the staff at the Lalu which made our honeymoon stay so memorable. We were not able to book in advance but managed to secure a last minute booking and the staff were able to provide us with an amazing lake view suite with a fireplace and also cake to celebrate!
Karen who was at the desk was also extremely resourceful and managed to help me purchase a battery charger + SD card which I left at home in my rush to pack while off duty. Truly the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Great view from the hotel

The Lalu must be the nicest hotel at Sun Moon Lake. Not only we are facing a good view from the room, the interior of the hotel is nicely decorated too. We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant, & the food & service is 5 star!
Wished the price is lower.
