Both my husband and I were very impressed by the service of this hotel. All the staff were so attentive, helpful and smart. Big thumbs up! The room was huge and very well maintained even though it was not a new hotel. The best mattress I have ever used in Taiwan hotels. The design of the rooms was up to date. They even provided international plug socket for travellers! High recommended ...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There were a lot of temples in Tainan. Not much to see but the night markets were awesome. When you are in Tainan, you must try their local snacks such as stingy tofu, rice cake and prawn cake as they were so delicious.

staff was friendly and helpful. room was huge and modern. breakfast is awesome with mixed western and asian food. the location of this hotel was very strategic, right across tainan rail station. there is a shopping mall at the first floor of this hotel. the only downside was the carpet in the room was a bit dusty coz i got allergy in the room (sneezing and itchy, watery eyes)

It's a good experience to spend two days at Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel. It has big and comfortable, delicious buffet breakfast, good customer service and convenient location which located in the city centre. The staffs are very polite and helpful. We enjoyed the holiday there.

This is the first time we stayed in this Hotel.we arrived in the mid night and the staff are friendly and cheerful.
the room is huge and bed is comfortable.
there is a connetion to the Deparment store on the main floor that you can shop without working outside the street.
We will definitely stay at your hotel when we visit Tainan in the future.

we used to stay in this hotel every time when we are in tainan. only the restaurant still needs some improvements, others are quite perfect. it would still be our first choice when we are in tainan.
