The owner was very nice to introduce us to local haunts, and provided tips on hawkers and places to visit. As we stayed on the 3F, the only drawback was the mosquitoes and with the sudden cold weather, we were not able to enjoy the balcony and open air tub. They also do not make the bed, but just throw the trash and replenish the bottled water.
The place is a little hard to find, but its beside a famous soft-serve ice cream place.
Breakfast wasn't great though, but the coffee was excellent!
Restaurant Tip:
There is a lovely restaurant just behind the B&B called Man, check it out for authentic home cooked food, with friendly service.

Rich hertigage using the refurbished taiwan house. Gives a homely and comfortable feel. Near to some traditional Tainan delicacies.

A different experience
2nd floor room comes with a loft.

Near to Hai An street where you can find arts & culture.
Rooms are tastefully renovated from old house. A good combination of the new and old.
Most taxi driver did not know the location.

we stayed at the 2F. the bathroom view is quite nice but we cannot really enjoy it while taking a shower/bath or using the washroom. the TV was put a bit too high. we like the old wooden windows in the room a lot. good location, breakfast and service. we had a good time.

the room was spacious for 6 guests, except there is only 1 toilet, so there could be a long queue to take a shower or use the bathroom. however, there is small living room area for chats and drinks and there is kitchen to prepare / heat food with microwave.

Lovely Hotel and Service with a smile

Initial sight of the hotel location was a bit eiffy. However, upon entrance of Zheng Xing Cafes, we were welcome by a lovely smell of coffee frangrance!
Pleasantly surprise by the lovely and cozy layout of the cafe. Was further pleasantly surprise and pleased by the lovely tatami and roomy bedrooms.

We were a group of 7 adults. The first floor room was perfect to accommodate big group of guests. The only down site is that there is no TV in the room.

a charming and relax place to stay
room is quiet and cozy, and it's easy to get delicious snacks of tainan

even though we did a very late check in, which is after 9:30 p.m., the reception is very friendly and give all the information we need. the room is very clean and well equipment with all kind of tableware so it's easy to collect some snacks around and enjoy those in the room.
Restaurant Tip:
very close to the famous traditional market and all kind of taiwanese gourment

It was a very nice and unique trip i have ever made.
If you like something special, you must love it.
And spending a afternoon staying in the cafe, chatting with new friends, you will know much more about Taiwan.

居心地のいい空間
広々とした室内、周りにレストランやカフェ、小吃店など多数あり、スタッフがいつも笑顔

駅からは少し離れたところにありますが、タクシーで5～10分くらいです。
帰りはタクシーを呼んでもらいました。
2Fのお部屋はロフトつきで天井が高く、開放感がありました。
バスルームも広々としていて、サンルームになっています。
ただ、周りに民家があるので、全開にすると丸見えです（笑）
バスルームにはロッキングチェア＆ベンチシートがあり、朝食後
鳥のさえずりを聞きながら、のんびり本を読んだりして過ごすことが
できました。
出入り口はカフェの入り口が兼用になっていて、チェックイン時に
カフェの鍵×2と宿へ続くドアの鍵を一緒に渡されます。
スタッフの方（カフェの店員さんが兼任しています）も笑顔が素敵で、
本当にリラックスして過ごすことができました。
またぜひ泊まりたいです。
Restaurant Tip:
徒歩圏内に、市場やカフェ、夜遅くまでオープンしている果物店等、
朝から晩まで食べるものには事欠きません。
また、台南のナイトスポットとして人気のある海安路までも数分で
行くことができます。
