Amain is very suitable for couple who want to have romantic and relaxing holiday in Taipei. Amain is located in Danshuei, it only takes one station from Amain to Danshuei Station which is one of the famous place in Taipei.

we definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone, but particularly to couples. the room was simply amazing. there were more than 25 recent feature films on demand on the huge flatscreen, there was a jacuzzi tub (with another tv!) and a steam/shower room in the bathroom. there was a king sized bed and a remote control for the entire room--it even changed the light settings to "daytime," "romantic," "sleep," etc. we felt like millionaires for the night, and it also gave me ideas for my dream bedroom!
the morning breakfast options were at least 50% western--eggs, coffee, juice, fruit, milk, cereal, bread..and then other traditional taiwanese breakfast foods. there is no lobby to speak of, nor any other general facilities like a fitness center, pool, activity room, etc. however, i would like to say the location is great--the hotel is directly across and up the hill from the hung shulin mrt station (one away from end stop danshui on the red line). it's an easy 3-5 minute walk. buses are also available, and there is a bike path to follow beyond the mrt.
