Had a relaxing and good stay in Atami for 2 nights. We are here mainly for the hot spring. They are thoughtful enough to have a massage chair in every room. Have a good massage after hot spring. Breakfast was normal but don't expect too much.

Beitou outdoor spring.

An old hotel

This is an old hotel with old facilities although some rooms are renew. Most of the visitors are come from the tour in China. There is only 1 hot spring in the hotel and some houseguests go for that with swimming suits without taking shower. The environment is so bad and no one guide them well. The room is big and I got a free upgrade to family room and there is a very small hot spring bath tub in the room too but the spring water is not hot and the smell tastes nasty. And the breakfast is cheap too. I won't come back anymore but for who wants to find a very cheap hot spring hotel in Beitao you can go for that.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It's so near for the sightseeing spots like the eye of Hot Spring in Beitao.

It is very well located and it is within walking distance to the town center, the library and the museum !
With such a low costs compared other hot spring hotel in the same area, it is satisfactory. Don't have high expectations as only basic service is provided. The facilities of the room is quite old.
value for the money !

The hotel is rather old and all amenities are old. The advantage is its low price and it is in a good location. It is just within walking distance to the main street to look for food.The spring water can also go to some rooms & one can enjoy the spring water inside his room, even the bath tub is small.

It is an old hotel and all amenities are basic.The room and its amenities are old and the bed is not comfortable. Considering the low price we paid for a hot-spring hotel, it worth the money. It is located near the library and the hot-spring museum;and one can relax the morning or evening walk around the area.

The hot spring in our room was small, enough for only 1 person. Overall, the hotel is quite old but given the price and proximity to hot springs, its worth the price. There are quite a number of choices for their breakfast buffet!

Hot spring bathrooms for personal enjoyment
Hot spring water in your own bathroom . Value for money.

Hotel rooms are clean and neat. Hot spring water in your own bathroom is a plus point (not for every type of room though). Public hot spring bath areas are also free if you stay in the hotel.
Hotel's counter and restaurant staffs were not very friendly and the hotel's breakfast is barely passable considering that it is a 4 star hotel. Breakfast consist of mainly pickled dishes and lack variety.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Follow the road signs and you can get to the different attractions around the area on foot.

Atami is very close to all the hot spring attraction which is good to stay for a day or two you can also travel down to tamsumi night market from there which very close. For the hotel service is not bad, a plus point is that they have a hot spring in the bathtub in your own room and a public hot spring right at their basement which free for all guests. the only disadvantage is that the MRT is quite distance from the hotel but still walking distance.
