Friendly service, very clean, cozy, and spacious room
Breakfast food variety is very limited
I like the hotel, a very clean, cozy, homely hotel. Very friendly serving staffs. The room is spacious, comfortable. Reasonably priced. Walking distance to MRT station. I strongly recommend this hotel to everybody.
Shopping Tip : Shi Lin night market is just near by, where you can enjoy different variety local food, fashionable and cheap clothings

Room was comfortable and the decor was warm and comfy. Close to the MRT and night market.
Went down for the complimentary breakfast and was told to come back later because there was no room, when there were at least two empty tables. I was the only Westerner and people sitting near us that overheard the worker tell me this gave incredulous looks. It was humiliating to be told to leave with all eyes on me when there were clearly tables vacant.
Sorry, but won't go back due to the breakfast scene. I also sent an email to the hotel and filled out the guest feedback card and left my email and there was no response.
Shopping Tip : Good proximity to the night market if that's your thing.

The room and bathroom is clean. It is near MRT and Taipei's biggest night market.
Staff are not proficient in English. No available food for room service.
Star Beauty hotel is best for those on a budget. The business room I occupied with my friend is spacious enough for two persons. And I especially like the very spacious bathroom. I also am impressed with the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Being near the MRT, walking distance, makes it even better. There are 2 convenience stores just across the hotel where you can buy small necessities. The view from our window is pleasant - a park and a swimming pool. It is in a good neighborhood, making my friend and myself feel safe walking around even at 1:00 in the morning. The proximity to the Shilin night market, the biggest in Taipei, is a plus factor. The only inconvenience we experienced is the hotel staff's lack of proficiency in English, though they tried very much to be of help. All in all, it lives up to it's 3-star rating. I wouldn't mind staying in this hotel again if ever I come back to Taipei.
