Strategic Location but bad breakfast

The hotel is located near Ximen MRT so it's very convinient.
Room sizes are reasonable, the room we stayed was attached to a bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. I was a little upset with the bad smell of smoke when I enter the room (Although it stated non-smoking).
For the bathroom, there was no curtain or partition for the the shower and the space outside tends to be wet and slippery when you use it. The TV in the bathroom was also not functioning properly.
The staffs are nice and they were friendly and responsive, and the price was quite a bargain.
With the Jacuzzi as the selling point, I would recommend to friends who also like to shop around Ximen.
Restaurant Tip:
One other problem I find with this hotel is the lack of variety in breakfast options. It was unlike other hotels where you have buffet style breakfast, and I had to stick with submarine buns.

Great location, great hotel. Will come back again.

Stay here or 4 nights, no complaint about this hotel.Reach motel early, and they let us rest 2nd floor lounge and leave our luggage till check in time. Mass transit is just 2 minutes walk & ximending just across the junction.Will come back again.

The location of the hotel is just great! Only about 2mins walk from Exit 1 of Ximen station and about 5mins walk to the main shopping street of Ximending. What is convenient is that you can always go back to the hotel to put down your stuff since its so near and then go back to Ximending to eat/shop again. The staff are all very cheerful & helpful. Even the auntie who helps to serve breakfast is very friendly! They offer different breakfast everyday. Room was very clean. One con is that the bedroom & toilet is only separated by some glass panels, which means that the person in the room can see the other person bathing. If you use hot water the glass will be fogged up and reduce some of the "transparency". If you're staying with some close friends or family then it shouldn't be much of a problem. They also offer airport transfer at NT 1000 for 2 people using a private car (not a taxi). I would stay at this hotel again the next time I visit Taipei!

-The hotel is well siuated near the engery-filled Ximenting.
-Friendly staffs
Cons:
- The room is small, and the aircondition is difficult to control. It emits an odour when the temperature is set at 25 degree celsius.
-If you are travelling with parents / friends you may want to note that the bedroom and bathroom is separted with glass door and glass window. Yes....you can see everything that happened in the bathroom.
-Basic breakfast
-Room Key has to be handed over to the front desk whenever you leave the hotel for their keeping. You may choose to keep it hoever, in the event the key is demagnetized or lost, you have to pay for someone to travel to the hotel to re-set the key. Lost of time and money.

convenient location but the rooms are small

Pros: very very good location - near XiMenDing; very convenient to Taipei's railway station; the famous street food and youngster shopping are around that area.
Cons: the toilet is not very comfortable as shower water splash all over the bathroom.
Shopping Tip:
shopping at ximending is only recommended for younger generation. if you are travelling with older adults,it would not be advisable.
