Great location, newly renovated and good service
Location - it was easy getting everywhere

First time visiting Taipei and found this hotel to be a great great location... highly recommended!
Getting to the hotel from the airport via HSR train was easy!
Going out of town to Hualien was also a breeze as we could walk to train station from the hotel.
Going around Taipei on MRT trains was also not a problem at all.
Restaurants and malls were all within walking distance.
Shopping Tip:
The underground of the hotel is easily connected to 5 different malls... no need to look any further for shopping and food!

Nice newly renovated room
The choice of bus / train or underground train is just under your feet... you don't have to get out of the hotel to get to the main stations!!

Nice stay. Helpful staff and citizens. Cabs are everywhere and cheap. Street food are aplenty and cheap but did not try as the street were overwhelmed with stinky tofu smell that you can't smell any other fragrance from other foods.
Restaurant Tip:
Yong Kang Street - it has lots of popular and decent resturants - din ta fung, slack season noodle, thanky pho, japanese ramenkaya, a number of taiwanese cuisine restaurants, ice monster, taiwan snack shop.... . Highly recomend to try 2* Michelin Robuchon at BellaVitta.

This quad share room is not renovated
Just above Taipei main station.

Did not realise that the Taipei Train station has lots of restaurants (mid- range price), whereas surrounding the hotel area are local, cheap food.

It takes 50min to hotel from taioyuen airport by car.
The hotel located in front of Taipei main station and
It's connected with subway station exit. ( Exit M6 )
Hotel have airport shuttle service(not free)

The next day, they forgot to clear the bathroom rubbish bin. Also on the third day afternoon, my daughter herself in the bathroom and I was waitiing her in the lobby but someone suddenly go into the room. My daughter shouted and that people ran away. My daughter then turned on the TV but it made her shock because the channel was showing Sex programme, when we went out that morning was confirmed that the channel No. 8 for sports programme. I thought someone got into my room and saw the Sex programme. It's quite terrible.
Beside, the hotel staff are very nice and helpful.

the location of the hotel is nice. i could go out to shop easily when my little girl of 4 was taking a nap in the afternoon with her dad. a rather large local bookshop was located near the back door of hotel. but in the morning u could find only a few places for having breakfast outside hotel.
