Wonderful Hotel with travel conveniences.
Opposite the Taipei Railwaay Station and lots of food options.

This Hotel had always maintained their level of service, which I find fantastic. The staff at the lobby is always able to direct me to all the places of interest with valuable travel options recommended and their attitude is always pleasant and friendly.
I will always return to this Hotel for all of my future stays in Taipei.
Restaurant Tip:
Head for the old Din Tai Fung shop but look for Dit Swee Lo, on the side street. Their siao long pau is better than the ones offered at Din Tai fung and you don't need to stand outside the shop to await your turn to gain entry. There are several equally good Restaurants in that vicinity where you can get to enjoy traditional Taiwanese street food as well as Vietnamese food at reasonable prices.

This hotel is located right at Taipei station so we are near to everywhere in Taipei. There is a very good buffet at that hotel. The hotel staffs are very friendly. They give us excellent service. However, i reserved a junior room. It was not upgraded yet so the room is quite old. And the bath tub looks really old.

The purpose of our trip is to attend the food show in TWTC , it's very convenient and we were provided for free shuttle bus. The food in the hotel specially the Japanese restaurant are good with reasonable price. And if you want to go shopping and you are first timer in Taipei best place to stay is Ceasar Park Hotel because there's a lot of shopping mall around the hotel and MRT is just beside our hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If u decide to eat chinese food go Sogo Mall there's a japanese restaurant it's good and reasonable price

It was a great trip. My biggest take away was the commoners/local, theer was very friendly and nice.
Shopping Tip:
2 incidents for me. (1)be careful with your payment, i was short changed at the "night market" at the road side food stall. (2)before buying the things, try to check a few stalls/shops. i bought some medicines for nt$150/each @ stalls a behalf my sister. 2 streets away sell nt$130/each @ stall b. back to my country, my sister told me, she got it for nt$85. i bought a carton of it. lesson learned, be street smart. i guess i am not a good shopper.
