Great Staff and Convenient Location

Staff was great - from the frontdesk ladies who helped us arrange an earlier check-in, to the housekeeping ladies who brought us extra pillows within 3 minutes of calling.
The hotel is conveniently linked to the Taipei Main station. A pity that the room is on the smaller side though.

The hotel was in renovation and all things were in big mess! We booked two rooms and they told us they had no individual rooms and wanted to give us one single family room. After much arguing, they gave us two rooms. The rooms were very small and facilities were old. This was very different from what we were there a year ago. We were very disappointed the service they had provided us.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Behind the hotel you can find a lot of small stalls selling good Taiwanese foods.

superb location for taking the train , it's basically centre of taipei.
saving time on transportation allow u to maximize ur sightseeing
it's clean, functional room... though it come with lots of dark paint otherwise service is ok
no unique feature, but considering the price will stay in it if i go back to taipei

Great finds at K Mall, Nova Computer Mall and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi which are all located near the hotel.

we are given a room at the 9th storey. two advantages: (1) the level is newly renovated and looks and feel much better and (2) it shares the same level as the business centre so you get free wireless wifi! they provide free cot for my baby.

Very convenient and there's cheap food located at the basement of the hotel. Connects direct to the Taipei Railway and subway, especially good if it's rain. There's a big shopping mall at the underground next to the subway if you want to stay dry during rain.

cheap rate for 4 persons staying in a 5 star hotel. great value for money if u don't mind sharing one toilet with 3 other persons. no free wifi and there's renovation although renovations stops by 6pm daily. it didn't affect us at all.
