Good Location but room is small
very good location to any part of Taipei
8.7
with mrt station below and railway station opposite of hotel which are the main selling points for caesar park hotel. staff at reception are very friendly and helpful. but feel very disappointed when being told that there is no wi-fi provided in the room as it was stated otherwise on agoda's website when i made the reservation. overall i give 8 out of 10 for this hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a chinese restaurant in the hotel which provide nice Hong Kong dim sum, food to try like the carrot cake, prawn dumpling, etc. It is much better than the chinese restaurant located at the 2nd floor of Taipei Railway station. Moreover in-house guest has 15% discount off the bill.

this hotel is fantastic for first-time travellers like us but one downside is that the quad room really isn't as big as it was shown in the pictures. other than that, we really have got no complains and staff were very polite, service was really prompt. would definitely stay here again!
Nightlife Tip:
Most clubs do not open on Thursday.

The location is great. The hotel is under renovation and so outside appearance is not great. However we stayed in a renovated room and it is alright. Beds are a bit hard. Bathroom is not new and rather small. The location very convenient. We are happy overall with our stay.

Very spacious room. Extremely convenient location
Location - just on top of Taipei metro. Lots of good food and stores nearby
9.7
this hotel was listed expensive but agoda's rate is very good. with a quad room, we fit 2 adults, 2 children, 3 big suitcases and still have lots of room
so much good food around the area.
would definitely recommend
Restaurant Tip:
The small eateries to the back of the hotel open early because there are a lot of tutorial schools

Good location and service
Close to the train station and main location
7.7
I stayed for 3 nights for business and it was very convenient to go to the conference site and easy to excess to the night marketplace and other sightseeing places. In the morning, if you go out of the hotel instead of having expensive breakfast buffet, you can easily find cheap and delicious local food places around the hotel. And the taxi is always ready right in front of the hotel, so no need for taxi reservation and right across the street there is a Temple train station.
Hotel staff can speak pretty good English and Japanese, so there were many tourists from Japan. Overall their service was very helpful and nice.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Pretty old hotel and smells, but upper floor(My co-worker stayed in 19th) is probably new and remodeled so it didn't smell anything and different interior(contemporary).
Foot massage with spa, but compare to other foot massage places(like night market)it seemed twice expensive.

old-fashioned hotel, chinese management and staff
Good location next to train and metro
4.7
I would not recommend this hotel, very old-fashined and you can feel and see that it is managed by Chinese. I was very shocked when I saw the hotel from the outside; the building is very old and the fassade looks terrible!
Standard: Poor, we got 2 room upgrades, don't want to know how the standard room looks like. Equipment in the shower / bathroom did not work properly.
Restaurant / Food: Service in the restaurant is very poor; we decided to go for the buffet instead of having dinner outside - food was not refilled once it was out, we had to ask and wait for a long time until it was refilled. Quality of food was poor.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Only recommended if you do not intend to spend lots of time in the hotel and if you only go to Taipei for sightseeing. Take breakfast and dinner outside, it's not worth to take it in the hotel.

Disappointing. This is not a 4 or 5 star hotel!
4
Felt ripped off, after paying to stay here! The staff were nice and helpful and it's very conveniently positioned right above the central station... but this is not a five star hotel, or even four star!
The rooms are old and very basic, dirty carpets, damaged furniture, this place would be lucky to get even three stars. My girlfriend and I were really disappointed, in fact we felt ripped off. Not a good feeling when you're on holiday. This place should be priced at $50 or less - don't pay any more. And preferably find a better hotel!

Great location
Location opposite Taipei Main Station
7.3
we had a quad sharing room which has an outdated look. in a very 60-70s looking bathroom, there were small cracks on bathroom tiles and torn shower curtains.
the whole hotel was under renovation and we had to close our curtains at times when workers are working on the external windows of our hotel room during daytime.
one of the power outlet near the window is faulty and there is only 1 other power outlet available next to the dressing table in the whole room. this was not sufficient as i have a few gadgets to charge - phone, camera etc and had to wake up in the middle of the night to switch the gadgets for charging.
the hotel has a promotion which offers a much better deal for foreigners (lower price for room with breakfast) than the price offered via agoda (higher price for room without breakfast). it would have been good if the hotel had offered the promotion to us (eg offer us the breakfast) eventhough we have already paid a higher price for room without breakfast.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
As the hotel has it own underground mall which is connected to Taipei Main Station, it is easy to walk from the MTR/bus stations back to the hotel - it has its own exit listed on the station signboards.
However it is confusing to walk from the hotel to High Speed Rail station (locate in the same complex) especially if you are lugging big luggages during the peak period (mornings and evening rush hour)crowd.
