Impressive hot spring spa

Hot spring is great. The room is a big small since we got a baby pram. The stuff are very friendly and helped us to carry the pram upstairs since the lift was under maintenmance.

Bad experience with hotel

PLEASE READ! Major issues:
1) Sunday check-in is at 5pm, not the usual 2 or 3pm, and it wasn't mentioned before. I arrived at 10am hoping for early check-in, or at least in the afternoon, but had to wait till evening before getting my room. I quickly ran out of places to go at Beitou and wasted a lot of time waiting for my room. When I finally got my room at 6+pm, I was given a room with bed directly facing the mirror, which can be eerie at night, so I requested for a change. I then had to wait until 8+pm again to get a new room because no rooms was available just yet due to guests who are there for the hot spring only.
2) I suspect they actually use these rooms for guests who wants to have a short (2hrs) hot spring soak at the hotel. It is disturbing because I can't imagine how many people have actually used the bed and bathtub in the room that day before I stayed in it even though it is cleaned (most likely in a hurry) after each use.
3) Breakfast wasn't nice. Lack of variety and food was cold. Eating out might be a better option. Condition of hotel wasn't that great either.
On a better note, hotel was very near to MRT and many shops around it. Don't have high expectations of it. It's quite a budget hotel afterall. But I won't be going back there anymore and not recommending it.
