The hotel staff are helpful and friendly. They always greet the guests with smiles, proactive in offering helps. The hotel itself is very well maintained. The room is clean and tidy with great view. This made our stay there a very pleasant one.

The room size is comparatively large. The window is big. The exercise room and laundry are on the top floor.

The hotel is located in the local residential area. We can know more about the daily life of the Taiwanese. The local people are quite polite and the life seems peaceful. There are some restaurants(Japanese food buffet 放題, beef noodle 牛肉麵, ) and ‘high class’ shops (such as spa, music, kitchen ware) nearby.
The hotel is too far from the central part of Taipei. We need to spend 30 to 40 minutes more on traveling. The railway is an extra part of the whole transport system. There have not yet a short cut.
The room size is comparatively large. Many space for us when we stay in the room. We have a cozy feeling.
The window is big. We can see a blue sky scene through the window.
The exercise room and laundry (washing powder is provided) are on the top floor. We spent a morning there.

Stayed at City Lake hotel for 4 nights. Overall is okay. Breakfast does not have too much choice. But the location of the hotel is still good. It is very close to the railway station. Also, the room is very clean and big. And the service is good too.
Shopping Tip:
near the hotel has a small supermarket( 美聯社). price of some items are little bit lower

Great location near MRT to Songshan Airport. Friendly staff, super clean.
Cons - breakfast was disappointing, cocktails in bar WAY overpriced. Eat breakfast at Royal Host restaurant or coffee shop next door.
Hotel is quiet - but away from the action of Taipei.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't need a taxi...take the MRT to all points in the city.

2 days business trip living in this hotel is comforted for me to say. breakfast is very simple but enough, please bring your personal cleanning kit as hotel provided is not good, quality is poor but ok for temp. free parking for hotel guest is great in taipei.

the hotel is good for business travelers and tourists. The rooms are decent size and clean. The hotel is located directly beside a MTR train station that links you with the rest of the city. Also, there are plenty of places to eat within a 5-10min walk form the hotel. I would return to the hotel provided it remains competitively priced.
