We really enjoyed our stay here. We arrived a little earlier than check-in time, but the staff kindly arranged so that we could check into our room earlier. They were also extremely helpful in helping us sort out things like dinner reservations and other inquiries, always writing information out in English and Chinese to make sure we could get around easily. The hotel itself is quite nice--beautifully decorated and very clean. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms even more so. Wifi in the room worked without a problem. The fresh fruit provided each day was a nice treat.
We found the hotel location to be really convenient. If you enjoy getting around on foot, it's within a 30-40 minute walk to many interesting sights in Taipei (otherwise a quick cab ride). The Zhongshan MRT station and Taipei Main Station are also about a 15 minute walk away. Within five minutes of the hotel you can find two street markets (Dihua and Ningxia) and also a small shop that serves traditional Taiwanese breakfast (just across the street and to the east, next to the 711).
We would definitely stay here again!

Staff is very helpful with our enquiries, and we were grateful that we could leave our luggages at the hotel when we check-out to travel out of Taipei for a few days. Hotel is not crowded and you can take your time to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea which is available throughout the day at the lobby lounge. Breakfast is simple which suits us well. There is a night market within 5 minutes walk with many good food. You should try the bean curd shop which is a few doors away on the left exit from the hotel.
