The location of the hotel was great just right outside Xi Men station (exit 3), making very convenient for travel. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. We got a windowless room for three. It felt a little small and due to the fact that it was windowless it was hard to tell the time (especially trying to get up in the morning) and the weather. The rooms are not very well sound proved. Although we couldn't hear our neighbours but one of the nights we could hear the constant opening and closing of the doors next to us. The room was clean and well decorated. The bathroom was a comfortable size. The pantry area at the basement was also well equipped with microwave, computer, coffee/tea/juice dispenser and even a laundry room. The wifi is free in the hotel and its not limited in the common areas so you could use your laptop in your room. The hotel also has a free coffee/tea area in the lobby right in front of the elevator. So if your elevator wait was a little longer then usual you could always grab a cuppa. Overall, the stay was pleasant and it was definitely an enjoyable stay.

This is a hotel chain with several hotel locations within Taipei city. The one we stayed at was right next to the Ximending MRT station which was great since there is a lot of walking to be done within Taipei city already. The staff here were tremendously polite and helpful throughout our stay here. The hotel itself has relatively small and basic rooms but are clean and each room has a different theme or decor. There is free wifi within the whole hotel and there are also internet terminals in a nice lounge in the basement. Compared to some of the more established hotels in Taipei which charges more but do not even have wifi in the room, I would say this is a hotel worth staying in.

Fantastic location with friendly staff.
2 mins walk from either exit 3 or 4 from XMD station. Beautiful room with nice and clean toilet. Shopping centre across the road with supermarket and food court at the basement.

The location is great. The quad room (602) is beautiful. Toilet and bath room are separated with glass panel. You can use the toilet while somebody is bathing. Not a problem for 4 adults sharing the room. Staff are friendly. Will check any information you requested immediately. Even offered to call on your behalf when the info is not available online.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a supermarket with food court at the basement of the shopping centre across the road. You don't have to go far for food on a raining day.

Small Boutique Hotel with Friendly Staff

The hotel is a boutique hotel which provided small and cosy rooms. It is very near to Ximending shopping area and conveniently situation near to the Metro station.
Hotel staff are very friendly as they greeted us everytime.
The hotel also provide free drinks and laundry area whereby we could wash are clothes conveniently!
Great hotel for single/couple travellers, but may not be very suitable for families as the hotel are rather small and only with one lift.

the appearance of the hotel from the outside is kind of hard to spot. inside the lobby- it has fairly interesting show pieces as well as free coffee. the rooms are very basic and small. ok for couples- a bit too little space if travelling with friends. room is clean and bright.

when we reached, we were welcomed by the hotel staff. everyone were friendly and helpful. they also went an extra mile to remind you on weather and if u need more clothings or umbrella! that includes the cleaning aunties! we were very surprised to receive such service.

the location is excellent! it's juz few steps away from ximen station exit 3 or 4. it's also walking distance to the ximending shopping area, ah zhong mian xian and the modern toilet restaurant! i juz need to ask the hotel staff how to get these places and they would be able to help and provide you with a map!

we stayed in the triple room as there were no twin room available when we booked the stay.
room is nicely decorated! nice n clean. the cleaning aunties cleans them everyday. there was once my clothes were messy on the bed, the auntie even folded my clothes! i felt so embarrassed when i came back seeing my clothes on the bed, folded.
something extra the hotel staff did for us..
as we went out to hualian for a day in between out trip and had not book any room for the following day, we juz tried our luck to ask if we could leave the luggage with them for an extra day and will pick up the luggages 1 day later, and they readily agreed! in that way, we saved ourselves from bringing huge luggages all the way to hualian and back to taipei!
all in all, it's been a very good experience staying in cityinn plus ximending. would definitely stay there again if we r visiting taipei again!

location of the hotel is great, less than a minute walk from xiemnding exit 3. there is a departmental store right opposite the hotel and there are many eateries located within a few minutes walk from the hotel. the popular ximending shopping district is also within 5 mins walk.
the rooms are clean and modern, but a little small. the lift in the hotel is rather small and slow, so the wait can be long to go up and down the floors, especially if you have huge luggages with you.
there is a basement area where you can rest, heat up food, eat and use the computer to surf the internet while waiting for room to be ready or after check-out.

Hotel with small room but excellent location

This nice little hotel is conveniently located at XiMenDing, just a few steps outside the XiMen metro exit, great for the budget traveller with heavy luggage. Our double room is small but well decorated, the only drawback is that it is a cabin room with no window, nonetheless it is still a great deal considering the price and location. Definitely will stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It is located near the presidential office building, which is open to public visit only on specific days of the year (check its website for schedule). Just a few minutes walk along Bao Qing road from the hotel.
