We stayed 3 nights at City Inn Plus during our holiday in Taipei as it is located next to an underground Ximending train station, opposite to a shopping mall and near the popular shopping street where you can buy and eat lots of things. The staff are very friendly and actually, before we checked in, we bought a few boxes of snacks to send to the hotel and they are able to help us receive and give it to us once we reached the hotel at night.
There are no windows from the rooms that we had booked but the bed and toilet is very clean. One thing to note is that the toilet door do not have any locks and it is a smoked glass door so it might be awkward if you are with your friends staying in the same room.
There is some issue with our room door and they are quick to resolve it straight away without much waiting and I felt that they are providing good service to us.
There are also washing machine for guest to wash their own clothes plus another good point of this hotel is that they have a basement where guest is able to relax over some sofa, drinks some free coffee / tea plus pop-corn. (We found this basement place on our last day at the hotel)
There are also coffee maker machine at the lobby area where guest can enjoy their drinks free of charge too. This hotel though small, it is equip with quite a few facilities which some other hotels might not be providing at all.
During our last stay at the hotel, as they do not provide late check out timing (My flight is at 6plus in the evening), we checkout in the morning and they are able to help us take care of the luggage while we went out for last minutes shopping. (They will leave the luggage at one side of the lobby with a net covering on it. you will receive a slip to collect back the luggage when you are back)
Do note that they provide safe keeping of luggage up to 7 days too.
