Overall, I would rate my stay as pleasant and stress free. The front desk staff were efficient and friendly. The room itself is quite small with little space to manoeuvre around but the toilet and bathroom was surprisingly larger than expected.
We stored our luggage at the hotel whilst we went to Yilan and returned to retrieve it. That was handled efficiently. The staff also allowed us to use the common laundry room, helped ourselves to coffee and used the internet in the lobby area without making any fuss.
If you are looking for a comfortable transit hotel near the Taipei Main bus or railway station, I would recommend this hotel.

the city inn taipei is a nice hotel in a super location (just a couple of min walk to taipei main station). but the rooms are tiny and have no windows - there is a big chance of becoming claustrophobic there. staff is nice.
