Great Location
Hotel is clean and location is great!

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful which was a plus point during my stay there. The room was clean and cosy, but we found it relatively small and it had a low ceiling. However, the location made up for its shortcomings!

Great Location with good service but small room
location is great, near to the transport area.

Great hotel but breakfast has limited choice. Next to hotel have few food stall which serve breakfast at only NT 40 very cheap. the hotel is onlly 4 shop lot away from the M3 exit which is very easy.

i think that the hotel room i stayed in was clean and tidy. i had a nice view of the scenery outside too. however, the wifi connection was very weak at night. for the 4 nights i stayed, i was being locked out of the wifi system several times. i hope the hotel management can look into this matter. also, i hope that it is possible for guests to check in early if they have the need to do so.

Very good hotel but small rooms

very nice hotel. location in the middle of the centrum.
the mrt is at 2 min walking. very helpfully staff and a few of them are speaking good english.

The hotel is located at exit M3 of Taipei Main Station, making it very convenient to travel to anywhere. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you arrive early or need to check out early, the hotel will provide luggage deposit service. If you require a tour guide, the hotel also engage external tour guides to bring you around. (one person is around NT1500). The room is of reasonable size and is clean. However, it can be a little old. There's no swimming pool in the hotel. The breakfast was reasonable.

Great hotel with excellent location

Great location, exit at M3 of Taipei Main Station, turn left and walk straight for about 50m and you will reach Cosmo Hotel. Very very convenient, especially if you are planning to save on transport fees even with large luggage. Taking the HSR from Taoyuan to Taipei. Many other buses and centralized location to go anywhere in Taipei.
Rooms are comfortable but small and definitely not worth the price I paid for. Service was good as the fridge and the glass door of the toilet were not working and within a day, they managed to fix it up. However, the television channels only has local and few overseas cable tv. Compared to my stay in Kaohsiung at a budget hotel, they are able to provide cable tv and room was much bigger.
Overall, the hotel is good and comfortable.

Cosmos Hotel is just a 3 minutes walk away from the Taipei Train Station and especially convenient if you were to arrive by public coaches from airport. You can put your luggage don in the hotel in no less than 10 minutes fromt he time you get off the bus. Free wifi in room is a great plus for business travellers. Clean toilets and items are replenished promptly. Breakfast is sufficiently good too.

Free wireless wifi in room makes everything so convenient!

Great location, service and nice room
Nice room, next to Taipei Main Station (MRT) and underground shopping mall beneath, lots of food

Very convenient for free and easy travellers. MRT directly next to the hotel, with underground shopping mall & eateries. Link to Taipei railway and HSR station all within the same place with underground walk.
Room abit small but nice and clean with nice bathroom facilities. Service was excellent during my stay there in June 2012 school holidays.
Abit expensive though.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
visit taiwan must go Ximending, jiu fen and shi fen
