The staff are very nice and helpful, though this is not a hotel tailor made for family with kids, it has everything that kids needed. My 3 years old daughter was so happy to chat with the staff there when they offered her a set of kids' slippers and toothbrush, really something unexpected from us.
Only easy and simple breakfast provided, however it is healthy and sufficient for a start of the day! My daughter loves the fresh fruits and tomatos there!

it is one of the best hotels that i have ever stayed. the staffs there are very friedly and welcoming, their passionate attitude doesn't make us feel they are merely working and performing their tasks as a staff in a hotel, but they make us feel like a home with friends! during our stay, it is new year time, in such a festive season, they not only prepare warm packs and fluorenscent sticks for us for celebration, they even prepare hot rice for us after the countdown! besides, one of our members in the tour got sick, they take very good care of her, not only helping her to get her medicine, but also preparing congee for her solely!
they are very meticulous and sweet. i will definitely stay there during my next visit to taipei!!!

Location is wonderful. It's easy to find and easy to get anywhere you wanna go.
All staffs who I've met were really nice. They were all kind and they can speak english.
Breakfast is quite good.

The room had no closets and hardly any place to hang our clothes. It was rather inconvenient to live out of our suitcases. The room reeked of cigarette smoke when we checked in, which was off-putting. The walls were thin, and we could hear other guests, especially those from the next room.
The bathroom was ok, equipped with the necessities. Breakfast was also quite good, although not really necessary because of the abundance of cheap food available just outside the hotel.

This is a good hotel for those who want good location at a reasonable price. It is less than 2 minutes walk from Zhongshan subway station, which connects to the rest of the Taipei subway network. There are an abundance of well-known eateries and shops nearby, including the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi and Japanese eel restaurant Hizen-ya. Rooms are reasonably comfortable, although on the small side and starting to feel a bit tired. Room cleanliness can be improved as I found some lint under the bedsheets and the bathtub had obvious stains. The buffet style breakfast, provided free in the lobby, is tasty and adequate. Service is good especially if you are a repeat visitor.

Restaurant Tip:
Once in awhile there's a dumpling cart across the street and a fruit truck at the corner. Both are great.
