about 5 minutes walk to ximending, very convenient.
lots of small local eatery just beside the hotel, 7-11 just opposite.
hotel lobby is small with all the luggages but acceptable.
hotel room is good given the reasonable price, very clean but my 6yr old daughter got lots of mosquito bites.
so travellers with children bring repellant.
space wise is fine for 2 women and a child with 2 queen sizze bed.
toilet is clean too, but they should consider a shower curtain though.
never had the breakfast at the hotel, not sure about the standard.
the toilet at the lobby is under renovation fyi.
we were told to use the toiler at kfc which was not very satisfied.
other then that, it will be my choice for taipei hotel the next time.

Not Bad hotel

During my stay, there was a water leakage in my room's toilet. i was staying on the highest level. but it was no big deal as the problem was solved in a day once i told the staff about it.
Good thing about this hotel is that it is in the heart of XimenDing Shopping District. very convenient if you are there for shopping !
price wise, it is also very worth it if you are on a tight budget.
the only downside is that the main lobby is 1 street away from the hotel room. feels kinda weird (detached) from the hotel. but it's not a big of a deal as well.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take taxi to the high speed rail station, its not expensive.

the hotel is located within ximending. there is minimarts and eatery just beside the hotel lobby. as the hotel is located near the mrt station, it is very easy to spot the hotel.
i like the room as it has 2 big comfortable beds and it is good enough for 4 persons. the hotel is very thoughtful as they provide a list of attractions and the directions/mode of transport. there is a ximending map provided in each room which is very helpful as we were trying to find some popular restuarant and we found it easily!
they can consider upgrading the wifi connection as it was disconnected quite often.
i did not give a good score for food/dining as the breakfast area is too small and we did not managed to have our breakfast on few days.

Confortable because it is new room for the hotel. But the building very old and the lift very smelly and horrible, once you reach the hotle floor only totally look different, other floor are residence.

the room got only bed but nothing more, dunt even have space for putting your luggage/clothes; bed facing the bathroom with almost transparent glass might cause embarrasement for not too close friends; staff are polite & helpful; location is quite convenience for shopping & massage.
