Great location, MRT station at doorstep

The overall cleanliness of the room is good. The room I stayed in do not have any windows so if you are those who need to look out, you'll need to request for a room with a view. Stayed there for 4 days and the house keeping refilled all the items such as toothbrushes and soap everyday. The wifi and mobile network in my room was very weak.. however, if you really need to use the wifi, the staff will recommend you to use it at the hotel lobby.

Very near to MRT station it's easy to go anywhere in Taipei city.
But the room is old, and smell humid with a little bit cigarette smell.
Travel tip:
Go to GonGwan night market, and enjoy the food.

Very nice and helpful staff, and even ran after me to give me a handwritten note in Chinese to help aid me to my destination. You're just steps from the MRT subway and can easily get anywhere in Taipei, and they'll drop you at the bus station for the airport express bus for free. There's a decent coffee machine and a Starbucks across the street.
But some rooms are in need of repair (leaky toilet made the bathroom stinky, gashes in the door, cigarette burn stains on the tub, etc.)
Don't let them give you a windowless cave if you book a higher-level room (After I protested, they gave me a one with a back-facing window, because I'd paid for a VIP room. Why a room without any light can be considered "VIP" is beyond me...)
Breakfast could be improved with less oily offerings and fresh buns.
