i've stayed at fx hotel in other locations in asia such as mainland china and thailand, but the taiwan (taipei) branch is simply the best. the owner / operator is certainly paying attention to details, making sure everything works and the room is clean. the decoration is trendy, resembling a modern art museum in some respects. the quality of sleep is excellent, as i arrived on a late flight and was able to rest the next day. the pillows are exactly the right height and the most comfortable i've tried in a while.
the taxi from the airport was around ntd so it's probably better to get a bus if you're traveling light. although the hotel appears new, the taxi driver knew where it was when i indicated the address (show him the address in chinese).
the wifi is reasonably fast (make sure you get the password at the front desk). maps are available downstairs near the elevator. mos burger and family mart are located across the street for a quick fast food fix. the restaurant downstairs delivers but i didn't try it as the prices were high and the neighborhood offered ample choices. taxis are sometimes parked outside the hotel door waiting for passengers, but i skipped the taxis since the metro was so convenient. nanjing rd is a massive street lined with banks, restaurants and other shops.

The outward apperance is not that outstanding compare to other hotels of similar rate, but the rooms are cleaner with fancy decoration.
Parking is concenient.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It's on the financial street of Taipei city, which is quite convenient for business traveller.

Trendy hotel with a good location
This hotel has a very modern design with an open hand wash area, great for those looking for a fashionable lifestyles.

The location of the hotel is really good with its proximity to nanjing east mrt station. While the design and setting of the hotel can really hits off with those looking for fashion and trendiness, I feel that the dark atmosphere in the hotel may not gain the liking of some. The room size is pretty average, but it is enough for a short stay.

super convenient and very reasonable
within 10 minutes to tsa taipei airport and taipei station

there's no way you can miss it . . . it is right next to the westin hotel, a landmark in taipei. despite its convenient location, hotel is priced right, clean, has the right items including free internet to make it a great spot for not only business travel but leisure as well since it's close to virtually everything --- restaurants, shopping, entertainment.

comfortable room with good location. the price is quite reasonable. however, the room is consider small & will not be suitable for family with children. i definitely consider to stay in this hotel for my next trip to taipei. it's easy to locate for food but as for transportation, i normally travel by cab. as such, unsure about the mrt locality.

we feel quite satisfied with the breakfast, which is not various but quite good quality, and the friendly receptionist who was really helpful for keeping our luggage safe, and the bathroom was completed with branded sanitary needs. the room and hotel is clean and neat though small. good impression.

Hotel located near by station easy to get every where by mrt or bus. Nice decorarion in boutique style but the room without window quite small and lack air.

Modern and lovely hotel
near to 2 mrt stations : 5 min to nanjing east road station & 10 min to songjiang nanjing station.

the room is very clean, staffs friendly & helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to food stalls -
Restaurant Tip:
there is a cheap & delicious soya bean & cha kuay shop 5 min behind the hotel- ideal for breakfast. there is also a cheap & delicious dumpling shop just behind the hotel.
