Lovely appartments
The apartments were spacious, clean and have superb fixtures and fittings.

We had a fantastic stay and I can highly recommend these apartments especially if you are going as group with children.
The only thing that irritated me slightly is that they only had one English TV channel (CNN) despite having at least over 50 Chinese channels. We were out sighting seeing most of the time so it didn't really matter.

High quality serviced appartment

a lot of thought went into the design and interior of each of the apartments. our kids really enjoyed the extra space and being able to have some space of their own. great central location. you are only a short cab ride from most places and it is only a 10min walk to shuanglian metro station. across the road from the apartment there is an convenience store for stocking up on basic groceries and an hsbc bank for changing money (the rate i got was slightly better what was offered at the airport). between the apartment and the station there are number of shops, small restaurants, street vendors and bakeries at which you can pick up some snacks.
further on there is a night street market and a large carrefour supermarket on chongqing road which was open until 2am in the morning. probably worth going there and stocking up if you will be staying in the apartments for an extended period.
the apartment were cleaned and made up on a daily basis which is not always the case at serviced apartments i have staid at.
they also provide you with some complementary bottled of mineral water and some tea/coffee sachets on a daily basis.
on the downside staff do not speak much english. the majority of the other guests in the hotel are japanese, so staff were geared up for them. the reception is not very efficient but the staff were professional and tried to help out. swimming pool was nice but it is not heated. which is fine in summer but we had some cool days and the water felt very cold. there are also limited opening times and it seems that a a life-guard has to be present. breakfast is ok. pastries, breads, cereals, fruit and some cooked items. it is limited and after a week you soon get quite board of it. the breakfast room is located in a windowless room in basement which was a bit gloomy. the apartments were spotless but some of the exterior windows were due a good clean. overall we had good stay. the apartments are not cheap but you are paying for a high quality appartme

Great hotel/apartment in the city

it was a pleasant surprise to discover this gem in the middle of taipei city!
the apartment was very well furnished and the kitchen was very well equipped!
the room was very cozy even though the building was located amidst other tall buildings in the area the room does not feel cramped!
the bathroom was very classy.
internet was provided free of charge through a cable connection and wifi a nominal sum paid however if you have a router like airport express you can get free wifi through your room connection!
the bed was comfortable and clean.
there was even good laundry equipment in the wash area of the room.
the hotel location is conveniently located at teh junction of the busy lin shen north road and min sheng east road and there are plenty of convenient stores nearby. it is easy to find restaurants around the area. the mrt(subway) is not too far away at shuanglian station from which you can access almost all of taipei!
good value for money!
