No window in room , but it was bright enough. Staff friendly. Offered maps etc. worth staying a night or two, but only if you get one of agoda's discount deals.

Small budget hotel with good location

The hotel room was small, its common for hotels in Taiwan to be without cupboards but the room didnt have a table as well. It felt cramped at first, we have to practically stay on the bed to watch tv, eat or just surf the net but it's quite cozy and we got accustomed to it after awhile. To provide space for storage, there are hangers provided and built in wall storage area where you can put small items. I would say its still value for money as we paid a good price for the superb location, other hotels right smack in Ximending shopping area are not as cheap as this place. The biggest plus point is the convenience, after shopping around the hotel, it is near enough if you just want to go up to put your things, use the toilet or just take a short break. It is never tiring to go back to the hotel as it is so strategically located.
Only thing we were concerned was that there was only one lift (hotel is on the 5th level), and on one of the days during our stay, the lift was under servicing so we had to take the stairs down. It wasnt any trouble but I guess it might cost some inconvenience if we happen to check in or check out with our luggage.
