Staying at this hotel is the only thing I enjoyed about my trip. Staffs are professional, food are great and the room are clean and spacious.
Elevator only reach level 3 or above.
Its location is close to MRT and rooms are very clean and spacious. Breakfast is wonderful including Chinese, Japanese and western style food. The duty free section is nice and there are various restaurants to choose. Overall service is excellent. The spa is great and relaxing. Staying in this hotel is the best part of my trip. Would like to stay again.
Nightlife Tip : Shilin night market is very famous in Taipei but personally, going there once is enough. Food is good there but the environment is not the great - crowded and relatively dirty.

- Huge room.
- Huge full facilities bathroom.
- Huge breakfast.
- Room too dark.
- Breakfast queue very long!
- Odd 'stand-by' LED on TV - too bright for sleeping!
A great luxurious hotel. I love the bathroom which is some 150 sq. ft. I think, with independent shower, a very nice bath and a WC with cleaning unit fitted. I choose this hotel for a relaxing lunar new year in Taipei when I expect most shop will close and not a lot to walk around. A right choice and this hotel give me what I needed. The breakfast has a lot of variety, huge buffet though you cannot eat too much. Great coffee!! Maybe I get you late and when I went for the breakfast (~9:00am), I got a long queue waiting for seated. There is a very nice TV in the room. It however got a blue colour LED as the 'stand-by' mode indicator which has the ability to bright up the room after you switch off the light at night. Since it face directly to the bed, it is quite irritating when you are not very fast asleep at night. I have to get something to cover it up to get a good sleep. Also, very funny, the front desk staff like to speak English, despite I am trying to communicate with them in Mandarin. Overall, I like this hotel, but may not come again as the lux is a good try and I may try some other next time.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Taipei taxi is inexpensive. It is good idea to totally rely on taxi if you stay in this hotel. The 5-10 mins walk to nearest metro don't worth it.
