Stayed in a cheaper room on 2 previous occasions and was not impressed by the more expensive option. There wasn't a double bed, but 2 singles pushed together, wifi didn't work in the room, but did work on other floors, bath was smaller than the cheaper room. Room was slightly bigger, but not by a great deal. An ocean scene was pasted on the ceiling in fluorescent paint which was incredibly tacky. Wouldn't recommend this option for a couple.

Really enjoyed the Thai restaurant across the road and the walk to Taipei 101 was quick. Very enjoyable and comfortable stay!

It's ok, not exceptionally great but not a disaster either. The rooms are quite small, bathroom is really small with no curtains- the floor did not survive after the shower. The location is great as its close to everything, lots of bars around 101, which is only a 10 min walk away.
The staff are really friendly. But next time I might choose to stay somewhere else better for the same or cheaper price.
