Very good location

I was ripped off in the first place by booking the New Year's Eve package as rates were all much, much higher than other dates all over the city. No in room free wifi and seems like there's no heater or warm-air-producing A/C. It would be still ok stay if the room rates were not that high. Staff are very friendly and ready to help, that's definitely a plus!

Stayed there for night and glad that I have booked us to another hotel for the next 4 nights. The ceiling was very low, the bath room looks like something coming out from the 70s. Don't even dare to step into the bath tub. Weird location of shower head too. Everything looks and feel aged. rusted railing, wall finishing and all. Won't consider this hotel again.

Terrible Hotel, pictures were a lie

Location was fine, but the hotel was like a "love hotel", with neon signs and a light-up tub. It was not appropriate for a business traveler to stay, and I was too embarrassed to tell my colleagues in Taiwan that I was staying there.
The photos look nice, but the hotel itself was nothing like the photos. I was sincerely surprised, as this seems like a scam on Agoda!
I cannot believe they charge $100 per night for such a place.

I felt completely disappointed after get into the room, it's dirty, things broken everywhere, horrible bathroom, uncomfortable bad. The main point is, it's not cheap at all. I booked for 2 nights and paid in full already. The room is different with the pictures shown when I book. Requested for room change, the staff said have to ask the supervisor, but the supervisor was never there. We have to talk with the supervisor by ourselves but he was never there. Should we stay in the hotel to wait for him for the whole day?

Wonderful apart from new WIFI policy
Lovely hotel in a great location, within walking distance of many malls, restaurants and things to do and see. Also near all the 24hr breakfast places on Fuxing S. Road, perfect for jetlagged travellers. 24hr friendly and helpful front desk service.

I originally booked 2 nights and then decided to extend my stay as there was just so much to see and do around the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, good amenities - fridge, freezer, fruit every day - generally lots of nice little touches. Breakfast was good, pretty standard, both asian and western choices, salad, fruit. Therefore I was disappointed when I discovered, only after returning to my room on the 1st July that the hotel had implemented a new WIFI policy and now charged day for what had been a previously and advertised as free internet service. It was a little annoying that there had been no forewarning, especially when rebooking, as when looking for hotels when traveling I feel internet is necessary for looking up things etc., furthermore, the cost was rather steep. I mentioned this to a woman at reception who was very unhelpful, however, the other staff members seemed much nicer and more apologetic about the whole thing.
Hotel Feature Tip:
In future I would make sure to specifically ask for the internet service in advance. Other than this one issue, I have a very positive image of this hotel and, if they abolished this policy, I would definitely stay there again.

This is a great hotel for a great price in the middle of the city. Only a block from the elevated train and within walking distance of good food, shopping, the weekend flower/jade market, and Tong Hua night market. The staff are helpful, there are no fancy amenities, but the essentials are there: free coffee/tea, access to internet and computers, breakfast included (though it's worth trying some of the famous breakfast spots just a few blocks away down Fu Shing Road).

The room and furniture was slightly old but clean. The bathroom was extraordinarily spacious, though the actual shower space was quite small. But the water jets were excellent - nothing like a hot bath after a long day!
The included breakfast had a rather limited range, but for the price, perfectly acceptable.
Business travellers will be happy to know that the location is right smack in the business district, in between the 2 metro stations - Da-An (5 mins walk) and Zhongxiao Fuxing (15-20 mins walk). There is also business lounge on the ground floor, complete with free WIFI, coffee and a printer, though I did not make use of it myself as the internet in my room (via cable) was fast enough. I did have to enlist the help of the reception in setting it up on my laptop though, as there was no wire provided at first.
Hotel staff were always helpful and ready with a smile, whether I needed help with the internet or booking a taxi to the airport. Two thumbs up for service!

it is not clear, the smell is odd, i was not dare to put my clothes into the wardrobe. Unluckily, my eye was swelling after sleep there one night, i need to see doctor there, i will not stay there again....terrible
