This was unexpected luxury. Staff with excellent English checked us in and made us lovely cocktails as part of our room package. The room is a unique design and we felt like we were staying at a very luxurious hotel. the bathroom is equipped with a tv, view of the 101 tower and room for two to soak comfortably in the tub! Breakfast was a mixture of exquisite sushi and western choices. Some of the best sauteed eggplant I've ever had and it was at a breakfast buffet. Wow. I would go out of my way to stay at this hotel again. The people who run this hotel clearly like their jobs.

A very nice experience to stay in Hotel 8. Very close to the MRT and nearby East Village. If you are to book a concert, Hua-shan is just across the road. Only parking lot is a bit too small and crowded. Other than that, a pleasant stay!
