For those who prefer to make your money worth, they can even take the airport bus service which is at the door of the Howard Hotel.
- Nightlife Tip : You can take the Metro to Shilin night market which I think is the biggest in Taipei.

Do not drink water direct from the tap. Howard is so wonderful that besides providing a bottle of drinking water for each guest which is a stardard item in all hotels in Taiwan, the hotel even have a special tap providing drinking water 24 hours a day. Bravo!

All in all a very good place to stay in Taipei.
- Restaurant Tip : Try the excellent French restaurant, L'appetit, which is just a block or so away from the hotel - Alley 30, Lane 279, Sec 1 Fu Hsing S Road. Excellent, authentic French food and a great ambience. A little gem in a little side street.
This is a good hotel

They were helpful in sending the hotel limo to pick up an associate at the airport for me that was not staying at the hotel and bring him there so we could meet.
- Restaurant Tip : Really good seafood restaurant is about a block away.
