5-star quality room, great amenities, cannot ask for more for the price I stayed at Imperial Hotel (Taipei) for 2 nights. Though the hotel looks a bit old from the lobyy, the room was very comfortable (5-star quality). The amenities were great. Lots of great places to find good food and the "Shuang Cheng" food street is just 5 minutes walk away. Loads of foot massage places if you enjoy that too.

Warm welcome and services
Hotel is located on very convenience business center where you can easily get taxi.
Rooms are clean and there are sufficients elevators Landscape is not so beautiful. Though this is only a small hotel and not really beautiful landscape, the service is equivalent to first class/ five star hotel. The most important issue is the security that is global acceptable.
Restaurant Tip : Tutto Bello is an Italian Restaurant located on the small street left side of this hotel is perfectly delicious!!

Location near a night market and MRT station The hotel location is near 1 of the MRT station and it got so many shop and restaurant around it. It so easy to find the food and it even have a night market within 3 mins walk distance. Another grest thing in staying this hotel is the offer price of the room charge, we can't get this price for a 5 stars hotel in Singapore.For the foods, it good and price is reasonable.

Comfortable, clean and centric. There is no weaknesses that I saw. I stayed 12 days in Imperial Hotel. Is was very comfortable and clean. Altouhgh the hot and humid weather, thanks to good working air condition in the room, you don't feel that. You can find anything you need in the room and the bathroom. There are iron, iron board, hairdryer, bathrobe etc... I stayed in semidouble room. The bed was very wide and comfortable. I loved especially the big four pillows. The employees are very helpful. It was very delighted stay for me. I don't know if the metro stop near or far. Because I used taxi and the taxi is not so expensive.
Travel tip : There is not much intrested place around the hotel. But you can find anything you need to buy. Restaurants, McDonald's, 7 eleven (open 24 hours), foot massage, cheep and expensive clothe shops, bakery etc...

Nice Hotel and excellent service. Sometimes noisy and crowded due to Tour group. Location is good, easy to find nice food and get access to the expressway.

This hotel is a nice hotel overall, excellent service from their staffs and great location, you can find nice food easily near the hotel. There a small night market just 5mins walk from the hotel. The room is alright but as this hotel caters also to tour groups, sometimes it's quite crowded and nosiy. Internet access is only free via wireless in the lobby, have to pay if using it from the room.

The location of the Hotel is in the heart and near to the world famous musium Dont expect a big reception hall as the Hotel Lobby is very small. The breakfest was misereble. May be its not atleast a standard Hotel Buffet. The Hotel staff are very knowledgeful and very helpful. (Majority of them). We can access to great world famous musium, Night market, and entertainment outlets. All in the walking distance. The Hotel also have full western and chinese Restaurant facilities
Restaurant Tip : The Night Food market just a few minutes walking distance from the Hotel. There are plenty of Dumpling, and Noodle soup food stalls filled with a lots of items to select. Specially its food pradise for oriental food lovers. We have found very nuce small outlets the owners cooked the foods infront of you and serve them while explaining on how to eat to get a perfect taste of the food. There are lots of photos and post cards send by the tourists posted from overseas who were visited these restaurant an evidence of good time spend in Taipei.

During I went out, Hotel Clark bring a package in my room and forget close the door. When I come back my room, the door was opened and unlocked. I was so surprised. Hotel just apologized and bring some fruits.
That's all.

The price and location is good Nothing i can thin of at the moment One of the best value for money hotel i stay in Taipei. There is everything and anything around the hotel and no one will ever be bored staying at this hotel. It is not too hard to find and the staff there are extremly nice and helpful. I will surely stay there again the next time i go back taipei

Good service and generally convenient location Not closed to place such as Taipei 101 or main shopping area Generally, my husband and I liked the hotel. We have never stayed at the Imperial hotel before but we are familiar with the hotel having eat there at the Sonoma restaurant. The hotel is much older than other new ones in Taipei and the room is small. However, the bed is comfortable, service is great and if you like to explore the older part of Taipei, then Imperial Hotel is ideal as the location. We walked around the area and explored the location and like the older area of Taipei - it is not touristy. All and all, Imperial Hotel is not far from a lot of the places in Taipei and taxi is quite cheap so it is easy to get around on taxi from the hotel. For the price, it is definitely more than acceptable in terms of hotel accommodation. We would not hesitate to stay there again.
Restaurant Tip : If you walk around the area, there is a neighborhood eating location around the corner where all of the locals eat there. Very cheap and good food if you don't expect fancy seating. Otherwise, the Sonoma restaurant inside the restaurant is well known for its steak - it is a little bit pricy but worth it!

Price is reasonable and good location. A little distance from MRT station. The price is reasonable and also if you stay in deluxe room, hotel willprovide rounge service including afternoon tea & alchohol for free as wewllas wireless LAN service.
Restaurant Tip : Taiwanese restaurant "XinYe" is very close to the hotel.

I didn't try any of the dining options at the hotel but there didn't seem to be much to choose from anyway ... the hotel is really just a place to stay in a convenient location ... for dining and other activities you will need to go elsewhere ... there is nothing fancy about the hotel ... it is past it's glory days but the service is good, the location is convenient, the price is reasonable ... if you are just looking for a comfortable and secure place to sleep while you tour Taipei then this is fine ... they have a small but adequate business center and a small fitness center ... i enjoyed my stay but I didn't go to Taipei to spend time in a hotel so the Imperial met all my needs ...

Services, friendliness of staff. Good location and very helpful and friendly staff. However, with other competing hotels in the very near vicinity, Imperial needs to update/renovate in order to keep up.
