Close to Metro subway, airport shuttle station.
Staff are friendly.
Complimentary breakfast can be better. In-room internet connection does not always work.
I stayed in KDM several times including this very last time. Around the neighborhood, you have 7-11, bakery, Brown's coffee. Within walking distance, there are SOGO department stores and Breeze Center. Rooms facilities vary by different room levels. I like the convience of its location. The staff are friendly. The hotel meets the 3 stars standard.

I liked the location! When you walk outside and cross the street the Train Station is right there. Sure saves me a taxi fare and walking far.
My room smelled musty, but I brought my own air spray. Even the towels seemed damp. My room seemed dilapidated, mirrors faded, and furniture old.
I loved the location of this hotel! My feet were hurting and so were my knees. (I just had two knee surgeries in the last two years.)I walked everyday touring the different places like: Taipei 101, The National Palace Museum, Taipei Zoo, the Snake Alley Night Market, Lianing Street Night Market, Longshan Temple, Shihlin Night Market and the Shihlin Food Square.
Coming back to the hotel was so easy because we just got off at the Zhongxiao Xinsheng train stop and walked towards the smell of the bakery and I knew we were going to shower and rest at KDM. You have the perfect location.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Easy using the MRT because the hotel is so near the train station, that it made sightseeing so fun and interesting.

Very near MRT exit (just beside the hotel).
Easily accessible from airport.
Kids travelling with family will like this hotel.
Variety of food lacking at the daily breakfast.
KDM is probably one of the most convenient hotels I have stayed. You can easily catch an Evergreen bus from the airport (about NT135 per pax) to KDM hotel (about an hour ride). While the hotel is right along the main Chung Hsiao East road, the room on the higher floors are generally quiet. Small eateries are available at the alley behind the hotel, including a Subway restaurant about 10 mins walk away. Travel time via the MRT (subway) to Ximenting and Silin night market is relatively short. This is the hotel to stay after a day of shopping and sightseeing trip. The SOGO mall is only one MRT away from the hotel.
