Phenomenal staff With Sub-Par rooms

If you are looking for a decent place to just rest your head, the Kevin Business Hotel will just do the trick. The staff is very courteous and they do know some English. Anita speaks perfect English so you will be very lucky if you encounter her. Although the staff is really fantastic, the downside was that the bed was really hard, the interior seemed outdated, and the bathtub was really high off the ground. You have to be pretty careful when leaving the tub. The television set was really nice in the room and the had a variety of Taiwanese, Chinese, Korean, and English channels.
Again, this hotel is really no frills. We basically stayed in our room for a total of 9 hours over the course of the weekend. Taiwan has so many good eats and attractions, to stay indoors would really do yourself an injustice.
Hotel Feature Tip:
From Taiwan Main Station it is roughly only 100 TWD which is fairly cheap. It is quite far if you want to go to Taipei 101, go night clubbing, shop at the night markets, or go to the zoo. The best thing is that the hotel staff will call a taxi for you and you can get to the main train station. Another great thing is that Taipei taxis are really cheap, usually under $10 USD. I think to Taipei 101 we only spent 300 TWD. The Taipei train system is among the best that I have ever been in. From Taiwan Main Station to the Taoyuan Airport is roughly less than an hour when there is no traffic.

receptionists were friendly and helpful when we asked them for directions. the room was basic, clean (though lights were a bit dim based on the price we paid, it was good enough for staying the night. there were places nearby to grab a breakfast and the closest mrt station was 15-min walk away.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel isn't close to any major sightseeing/attractions, but it was MRT accessible.

it's a little pricey for the quality. doesn't have separate a/c for the room (can't change tempt., and it was freezing), and the room seems pretty dim even with every light on.
the walk to mrt station is about 10-15 mins

a family run business which is not really near any popular attraction of taiwan. beside the ningxia night market, the location is food haven which need you adventous self to explore the area.the picture seen on the website is not a reduce size but a actual size of the garden and room.
bedsheet is not change everyday just tidy and is not even up to housekeeping standard. the rate is ok but the room was small
hardly any moving space in the run down room. not doubt wifi is provide however we had diffculties getting the signal in our room

definitely nit a good location if you want to travel by mrt. its 20-25 mins walk to mrt and u wint want to waste your energy to walk so far after a tiring day...not worth the price you pay fir this kind of location and room. unless u live stuffy room and heat , plead don't stay here. it's irritating to call the front desk to adjust the air con temperature the whole night. don't know where they get the idea if installing a general air con controller for all rooms.
my worst selected accommodation in my life. so go stay in ximending or other places.. not here!!

Old building and small rooms

stayed in this hotel 5 nights with my mom and my sis. walking to the nearest mrt station (daqiaotou station) takes us about 15-20 minutes. the hotel is an old building with very small rooms, and the a/c is centrally controlled. the first night was so hot that we couldn't sleep at all, after that we have to call very often to request them to adjust the a/c. breakfast was disappointing, they delivered only sandwiches to our room every morning, without any drinks.
overall, i would rather pay a little extra to stay in a much better hotel my next visit to taiwan.
Restaurant Tip:
Approximately 5-10 minutes walk to Ningxia Night Market (寧夏夜市), a good location for a lot of great local foods.

2泊しましたが駅からも結構離れてるし、部屋のお風呂が掃除されてなくて前の人の髪が大量に湯船に残っていて水も流れていなかった。流そうとしたけど詰まっていたので流れず、フロントに言って部屋を変えてもらった。でもその夜、お風呂に入ろうとすると巨大なゴキが溺れていて入れず･･･
清潔感ゼロだし、壁もはがれまくってるし窓も小さく部屋全体が薄暗く、失敗だったと思った。
フロントの女の人は対応良くなかったが、夜勤の男の人は対応よくしてくれたので、それが救いだった。

低予算での旅行を計画しておりましたので、女2人でダブルの１部屋を予約しました。
寝心地に関しては問題なく、夜も静かでしたのでゆっくり休む事が出来ました。
ただクーラーの調節が出来ない事と、照明が薄暗い事は気になりました。
5分程歩けば川沿いの公園もあり、のんびり過ごすには良い立地でした。
またスタッフの方も英語が通じるので、問題はありませんでした。
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
近くに川沿いの公園や夜市もあり、桃園空港からも40〜50分程度と便利な立地でした。
