Disappointing
City views, close to Ximen shopping area, close proximity to Taipei Main Station.

All rooms I saw had signs of neglect: mold, peeling paint/wallpaper, broken/inoperable windowshades, faulty/inoperable electrical/lighting, water damage, and plumbing difficulties. The staff does not speak or understand clear English. The hotel is located off of a poorly lit street, and the only access is through the front, which is scary to get to in the late hours of the evening. The positives to this hotel are the central location, easy access to Ximen shopping area, as well as Taipei's MRT Rail System. The hotel does offer breakfast, but be forewarned, the selection is not very large, and if you are unfamiliar with Chinese-style breakfast, your options will be few and far between.

Useful place to stay in central Taipei

The room was clean, but very dark and its size would have been to small if
two people would have had to share it. The bed was good and the bathroom
reasonably well equipped. Breakfast was of the buffet type with a good
selection of Chinese and western food. Some fresh food would have made it
perfect. Staff at the front desk and in the breakfast room were very friendly and efficient. Cleaning staff was rather noisy in the morning and
early evening and unfortunately my room was right next to the place where
their utensils were stored. As hotel prices in Taipei are pretty rare I
guess that, all things considered, I had a good deal but certainly not
a three star experience.

Room is extremely small with a queen size bed and an attached 600x1500mm toilet.
Air con can't be adjusted.
Breakfast is simple.
It's a 10 min walk to Ximending and Taipei station.

The stay was bad as the room is lousy, small tv, bed shaky, small bathroom with limited shower space. Ventilation poor. I got sick. Aircon cant tune the desire temp. Wifi always disconnected.

Though , it is a well equipped hotel within the budget price. I really don't mind for a small room with the low ceilling. What i concern is " noice " i could heard the conversation of people walking in the corridor and i knew all five room when they showered that i could not even sleep until after midnight.!!
