Residing at the foot of Yang Ming Mountain and presented with magnificent natural views of the Guandu Plain, and surveying Dansuie River and Guanyin Mountains, with Beitou River and Huang-kang River passing wriggly in its left and right respectively. The unique white sulfur hot spring was formed naturally from Sulfur Valley. With such distinct feature, the property had once been chosen by the imperial order to be an exclusive private guest house for Government House during the Japanese Colonial Period. The Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission later on made the resort into an elite venue that mainly received foreign guests and oversea compatriots returning to Taiwan. Nice hotel
The place was convenient, comfortable and easy to locate and look around

I think the resort hotel is a bit old and the carpet of the room is not very clean, but it was easy to find and close to the railway station. The breadfast were the same everyday with limited choices but the dinner was very nice. We could enjoy the hot spring inside our room.

We just feel that the stay is not worth the money. Next time we won’t be staying at Beitou. We prefer to do a day trip instead.

A nice resort near parks and hot spring
Chinese restaurant, in-room hot spring, fresh air

The hotel is relatively nice and clean. The staff can speak English, but the waitresses in the hotel's Chinese restaurant cannot. The breakfast maybe awful for people familiar with western style breakfast, but for me it was ok. There's shuttle bus service to beitou mrt station which is very convenient.
