Basically it's a nice hotel, suitable for business travellers, or couples. Staff is friendly with mult-langauge skills (mandarin, english, japanese). Overall design of the hotel is quite stylish. However, the room is relatively small in size.

Average hotel (no windows) and poor housekeeping

The two rooms which I’ve booked didn’t state that they’re room without windows and I only got to know about it upon checked in. This is quite upsetting. If I’ve known earlier, I won’t even consider taking up the room as we prefer having sunlight coming through. This is the quite a letdown part and I will be doubly careful .
There were a lot of mosquitoes at the hotel. We were told to wait at the café as the rooms still weren’t ready at 3pm so we proceeded to have some beverages on the house and we noticed a lot of mosquitoes flying near us and many were resting above our heads, on the ceiling. I checked with the receptionist and she said due to change of weather, it resulted in a lot of mosquitoes in the hotel. However, they’ve kindly provided the mosquitoe repellent in our rooms. We’re quite disturbed to find so many mosquitoes in the hotel, but thankfully, there’re not many found in the room, maybe 1-2 per day in the bathroom.
The breakfast were the same for the 5D4N of stay, however, it wasn’t a big issue as we can choose to eat out as there’re many eateries around, and McDonald and MOS burger are just 5 minutes walk away.
Last issue is the poor housekeeping, other than tucking in the bed sheet and duvet, I really wonder if the housekeeper do anything more than that.

Jap Restaurants easier found around this Hotel
Staff friendly, room clean, easy excess to MRT.

I think the location is cater more to people who like japanese food, pub or karaoke cos all these will be just mins away. If those who prefer for varieties, guess you got to choose somewhere else, like Taipei 101, xinmenting or taipei train station. But hotel room was nice as we chose double deluxe, internet excess not too bad as for breakfast, almost not much changes everyday but food ok.
