As I am driving a car in this travel period, the location of this hotel is not a big deal for me.
The room is extreme good in term of price, I travel with my wife and my little son, they feel comform and we have a nice sleep in this hotel.

Great New Hotel for my Family
Friendly Staff, New and clean rooms, Good breakfast buffet

This was my family’s first trip to Taiwan and we stayed at the hotel for one week. As we have two kids, we selected the family room which had two very comfortable beds and nice pillows. At least for our room they were able to watch TV while taking a bath. I was extremely impressed with the hospitality, service and friendliness of the hotel staff. Check in and out was very fast as well.
The hotel is located in a building directly above St. Ignatius High School Subway Station in a safe area. The hotel lobby is located on the 6th floor of this building. The floors below house a shopping mall. The room levels are well above the street to avoid the majority of any street noise.
The free laundry room was a great help and they don’t nickel and dime you for the detergent. The breakfast buffet was more than sufficient to satisfy me. I asked for extra bottled water one day in my room and was immediately given some with a smile. It rained one day and we borrowed two umbrellas quickly. The gym was very good especially after eating so much good food in Taipei. The 7-Eleven right outside the door to the street was very convenient to get my children milk.
Being that it only takes a few minutes to walk downstairs to the subway I found the location fine. It may take a half hour to get to Taipei 101 or the zoo but other areas are not that far such as the Shi Lin night market located at the Jiantan subway station. My children enjoy taking the subway anyway and we were not in a rush.
Nothing to do with the hotel but I do recommend knowing the exact details of how to get to the bus station near Taipei (Railway) Station that has buses going to Taoyuan international airport. The bus is fine, but perhaps a taxi to the station is better than the subway when you have luggage to carry and there are two bus stations , one in the station it seems that has many routes in Taiwan but does not haves buses going to Taoyuan. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Restaurant Tip:
Level B2 of the mall has an excellent food court with many choices at reasonable prices that we enjoyed. The other levels have some other restaurants as well. We particularly enjoyed the Japanese hot pot which was all you can eat which we had as a special treat on our last full day there. Down the road not far from the hotel is an excellent Potsticker / fried dumpling place, you're bound to run into it if you take a walk past the 7-Eleven in that direction for several minutes.

Great value for money, big family room, nice breakfast complimentary, and best of all super convenient due to sit atop a shopping malls, food courts, fine dining restaurants,and also atop a mass transit station. We will surely return to this hotel on our next time visit to Taipei, Taiwan. Highly recommended for big family to stay in this hotel.
