Great location but real small room

great location but do be aware that your personal belongings aren't exactly safe in the hotel. they requested that the keys be kept at the reception whenever you get out of the hotel, and trust me, anyone can just request for your keys and go in. i had my friend took the key and retrieve his item in my room, and all these are without verification.
my room happens to be on the second floor, and it's really small. i can't even have space to open my luggage. i had to prop it up on the bench to open it up on my bed.
the pillows are very low lying, and the bed is real hard. so if you are a side sleeper like me, get ready for backache. i did request for a second pillow, which they said ok but didnt deliver.

Small old hotel with good location

All shopping within reach in Ximending area and food easily available too. But the hotel room was small and old, not exactly conducive for long stays but ok for just the night's sleep.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Leave your luggage at the concierge if you plan to move to other areas like Taichung or Hualien and then come back to stay a night before your return flight.This will save you from lugging your full luggage for the trip

This budget hotel has great location within the main Ximending area, shopping and food all within reach. But rooms are tiny and old, good for budget travellers who are out all day only back for a night's sleep.
Restaurant Tip:
Must try the Ah Zhong Mian Xian just round the corner.

Stayed for 4 nights in this hotel which is located right smack in the middle of Ximending, which is great for shopping, nightlife and food. Room is basic, clean and with free wifi. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Location is its best asset. Highly recommended for leisure visitors.

The hotel has a great location and clean. Transport by taxi, MRT and bus is easily available. Great for travelers. Apart from that, the staff is marginally friendly and room is small. Wifi is sometimes difficult to access.
