Luxury Hotel in City Centre

I have been patronized this hotel for many times, I am always enjoyed the Spacious Room and simple but comfortable design of the room. Further, the location is always my favorite, you can fill your stomach within 5 minutes walk at Lin Sen North Road.

In general, it was very good and the standard was as expected (I have been staying in this hotel for over 5 times so I know what to expect). I am glad that they managed to keep up their high quality.
Two suggestions for improvement
(1) when i booked the room over Agoda, I believe it listed that local newspaper was complimentary. However, when i requested a copy of Apple Daily at check-in (ground floor), i was told that it was not included. Of course, I was not going to argue over a TWD 15 piece of newspaper. So i did not insist. I was staying on the Taipan floor and i must pay commendation for the staff at the Taipan counter (19 th floor) because she eventually organized an Apple Daily newspaper for me the following morning. It may look like a small thing to many people but it is this little thing (TWD 15 worth) that will keep me coming back to Regent Taipei Hotel.
(2) i was told that i can check out at 1pm (and the ground floor staff marked it down in my check-in slip) but to my disappointment, I was called at 12.40pm in my room to remind me to check out. I have already packed and was literally about to call concierge to help with the luggage. I was not happy that the caller was so eager to chase me out and could not have waited until after 1pm, the agreed check out time.

Excellent hotel, great food, service, face wash!!! And amazing bar which seems to be a local hotspot! Will definitely go back. Oh and the staff are all gorgeous! Didn't have breakfast as wanted to be out and about but had room service and dinner in both restaurants and was excellent. The rooms are beautifully designed.

the room is very spacious, this is the biggest room i have got compared with other luxury hotel in taipei. the concierge is very nice, they can provide very good suggestions in terms of dining and sightseeing. we can see the taipei 101 towel from our room, it is quite a surprise. regent will be quite a good option.

Large room with comfortable bed. The bathroom is impressive. Staff are friendly.

My favorite hotel in Taipei. Every time when I need a place to stay concentration, I stay in this hotel. The large room and bed make me comfort. When I need something to eat , the resterant is there and foods is no-doubt delicious.
