Good location to XiMenDing
Location, friendly staffs, good size family room

Very pleasant stay. All hotel staffs were very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was very nice to kick-start our day. The location is about 5-8 mins walk to XiMen MRT station. Close enough to XiMenDing area and yet quiet enough for a good rest.

Money minded hotel without a heart

we booked this hotel because it is the last available hotel in the whole of ximending area which is still available as at late nov for the year end countdown party. location is outside xmd area entirely and there are much better and nearer to xmd hotel. price averages usd which is very pricey for a business double room with hardly any space to move and a tiny double bed smaller than queen bed. we indicated for a baby cot in our request but was told that our online booking company did not pass the message to them and demand we pay nt300 for the cot and we paid. we requested that they waive the nt300 when we return to the same hotel after our 1 night farmstay but they flatly refused. we requested for extra 2 blanket but they claimed hotel is full and can only provide 1 blanket. when we walk out we saw people asking for room and they say there is still rooms. dont understand why they are so stingy about blankets as they do not have heaters and temperature can be 8 to 10 degrees at night. in the end my girl developed full blown cough and flu and runny nose the next morning as we are not used to the 8 to 10 degrees temperature in taipei. when we checkout, we requested for porter to help with our luggage and they say there is no staff at the moment but insisted we checkout at 12pm sharp despite us not able to handle so many luggages. after we made several trips up and down to shift our luggages. we suddenly saw 2 staffs pop up. when the food delivery man came, another staff pop up to collect the food. so where are the staffs hiding?? it's a joke to tell customers different things from what is the truth and reject every request customers make unless we pay extra money. when my boy dropped his bolster and we pick it up, it was laden with pu**c hair!!! eeks!!!
morale of the whole review is that avoid this hotel at all cost!!! this hotel seems very different from the tw culture i met in my other 5 hotels i book in our 10d trip.

Clean hotel but ask for room with window
7.3
i enjoyed my stay there mainly due to the proximity to the mrt station, clean room and good price. unfortunately my room has no window which on hindsight i should have insisted for a room with windows to up my rating for this hotel. the breakfast is really simple - porridge, rice, bread, coffee, orange juice, milk, tea, egg, hotdog, ham, 2 stir fried vegetable dishes, 2 meat dishes, 1 soup, salted egg and vegetables, 2 fruits. if you need to top up for an additional pax for breakfast, i wont recommend it since it is pricey ( per pax) for the simple food. it has a carrfour just 10 minutes down the street and a ma-la hotpot next door hence good food is readily available at quarter the hotel's breakfast price. it is also 10 minutes walk to ximen ding shopping district so it is convenient to get food outside of the hotel. the staff are friendly, and they can help you arrange airport transfer and directions to all locations within taipei.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Ask for a room with window. You will be able to open the window in a rainy night and feel the cold refreshing breeze outside. If you eat in your room, at least there is a venue for better air circulation.

Very nice hotel in term of location, but the room is small, it is suitable for business executive who is not staying long. About 10 minutes walking distance from Xi Men Subway station and busy shopping hub in Taipei, i.e. Xi Men Ding (西门町). Most probably I will stay again during my next trip.

9.3
This is our second visit to this hotel. We had a nice stay in Rich Garden which provides clean and comfortable room. Location is good in the way that it takes around 8 minutes to the Ximen metro station, and its neighbourhood is clean and quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful. They gave a very good attention to our special needs as we had young children to stay with. Breakfast is simple but good!

The hotel is located near to xi men ding shopping district. Xi men ding is oftenly compared to tokyo's harajuku shopping district where one can find the latest fashion clothings. The hotel is very well maintained and clean. It also has very nice interior design with traditional chinese wooden furnishings. The rooms are however not very big but its understandable since the hotel is located within one of the city's busiest area. The washroom is equiped with modern ameneties and clean. The buffet breakfasts provided are quite complete and can notice that the chef was trying his best to offer great variety of selections despite having just 48 rooms. All staff are very helpful and polite.
Shopping Tip:
Xi men ding shopping area is within 5 minutes walk. The famous xua xi night market is about 15 minutes walk.

we have to upgrade upon checking in as the hotel have small rooms but aside from that we did enjoy our one week stay. as it is a small hotel you get to feel quite homey staying there, you get to know all the staff & all of them are quite friendly, specially the kitchen & buffet people, they make you look forward to having your breakfast & starting your day. the breakfast selection although not that many is quite good.
