Nice and pleasant place to live in for a couple of days. The hotel is near to subway station and is close to the center of Taipei city. Recommended to those who is looking quiet, simple and clean hotel in the city.

Average hotel with nice staff

This hotel has potential but for the current condition it's not a preferred choice. For location is 3 minutes walk from the MRT, but the hotel is kinda hidden so it's not easy to find in the first place. The hotel is situated in residential area so it's very quiet but at the same time not so convenient. The overall environment is very much like a hostel.

Nice Hotel in Residential Areas

The Rose Boutique is a small hotel in residential areas. We had a small problem locating it but when we did it was very convienient to travel around from there. Because of its size, the hotel gave us meal voucher for breakfast which was in a Dante Cafe in the next lane. The breakfast was good & the ingredients was fresh. The apple juice was made of pure apple as i could taste the pulp!
The Mrt was just straight ahead & was convenient for us when we wanted to do some shopping at Ximending & Wu Fen Pu. However, it did not have much facilities. The Gym was under renovation.

the room is clean and not noisy. location is good. it just takes 5 mins walk to metro station. the breakfast is nice. overall, the stay of this hotel is fantastic if you are not troublesome people.

Comfortable and spacious room

We stayed four nights in a quad room and we liked the room which was spacious and nicely decorated. Amenities like cable tv, wi-fi in room, toiletries, etc were sufficient. It's a good room for families, too. Although there's nothing much around the hotel (just 7-11, cafe, banks, small eatery, shops), it's very near the metro (Zhongxiao Xinsheng) and convenient to go around. Staff (overall) can converse in basic English and are helpful.
My only wish: It would be nice to have a simple breakfast included in.

Simple hotel, friendly staf

Simple hotel in the middle of a residential neighbourhood. Quite near the train station but I suggest taking a taxi in for the fist time because it's in the middle of a neighbourhood, the small lanes can be quite confusing. The room was quite big but not really clean, a lot of hair on the floor, the hotel should have done a better job vacuuming the room. Overall was quite okay.

Convenient location, great stay

Room was clean and comfortable. We were given vouchers for breakfast at the nearby Dante cafe, which is super yummy (good coffee and really good sandwiches/croissants). The hotel is within walking distance to the MRT, and places like Ximending is just a few stations away. Overall great stay in the city area.

Great Location For Big Families

The hotel is not the easiest to spot, since it is in the residential area. But if you like big rooms and a convenient spot to travel through the metro or buses then this is the right place for you. A big room plus breakfast? What more can you ask for! Although the breakfast is not offered within the hotel itself, it is not much of an effort to reach the breakfast place. And everyone needs a little exercise in the morning anyway. A few minutes and you can finally enjoy your big breakfast!
It is easily located near a metro station. There's a grocery not so nearby but can easily be reached by walking for about 10-15 minutes.
The location is serene and quiet.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a thailand restaurant nearby just turn right from the hotel and straight almost near the corner going to the nearest station. It's a must try if you love authentic thai food but don't have the budget to actually go to Thailand and have some.
