1. Great location, close to every thing; 2. friendly services, 3. clean room, 4.Resonable good value for money 1. basic fittings 2. no window 3. Although better than many similar hotels in the same area, I did find a better one with less price tag Overall it is not a bad option. Location is great and very quiet. People are very friendly. Room I stayed is very clean but fittings are very basic. Don't expect something special such as LCD TV or safe in the room. Considering the reasonable price tag, it is a better option in the area although I did find a better hotel with less rate.
I will stay there again if I can not get the booking for other one.

Located in Xi Men Ding and the train station is just a few minutes walk away. Clean toilet and comfy bed. Cracks on walls. Furniture looks old. The hotel is located in Ximending, and the train station (Xi men) is of walking distance (5 mins). After exiting from the hotel, just turn left and walk straight to get to the train station. The highest level of the hotel is the 9th level. The twin A room is abit small, but is still considered comfortable for 2 adults. the toilets are clean but the towels povided has a strong bleach smell. Water dispenser (Hot and cold) are provided in the room.

The hotel has a water dispenser that provides both hot and cold water. Dripping aircon at the lift lobby Location of the hotel is good. Tucked away from the bustling Xi Men Ding, so it is not too noisy compared to those hotels that are right smack in the centre of Xi Men Ding. Staffs are friendly. However, local calls are chargeable while some other hotels are providing it free. I guess the hotel is really popular, as we are not allowed to extend our check out time.
Restaurant Tip : There's a shop selling breakfast beside the hotel, right hand side when coming out from the entrance. A good alternative to Macdonalds or KFC as most places are still not opened in that area.

the receptionists are very kind and friendly. and the room is clean. dont really like the bed. too hard and cause me to have backaches. i would suggest people to stay here if they are not particularly of their comfiness. However, if u really want to have a good night sleep, i would suggest u to pay slightly more for a better hotel with better bed. the cleanliness is exceed expectation and i was surprised that the hotel actually come with towels. overall, the location is good as it is in the center of Ximending and nearby, you can find lots of entertainment and food. the hotel is 10 minutes walk away from the Ximen Subway. it is very convenient .

Value for the price u pay. Room was clean. No wi fi if they got it would b better although that offer Internet connection but I'm a fuss free person who won't carry a laptop out when travel. Value for the price u pay. Room was clean. The saff was veri friendly n helpful. I would recommend this place if my frds were 2 go Taiwan as is near the shopping (ximen) n their metro station.

Not much....no breakfast included. The hotel is located in one of the crowded place in Taipei, Xi Men Ding. At night, you will see lots of people, especially the teenagers are doing their shopping in this shopping paradise. Yeap, its paradise for those shoppers. It has the latest fashion from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, etc. Just make sure you bring enough money and for sure you will enjoy staying here. It is very closed to the restaurant and shops (you can ask the staff in the hotel and they will show you where to have your breakfast which are tasty and cheap).

Within few minutes walk to nearby Ximen MRT, near to Ximending's main shopping area, good front desk services, clean and free internet surfing. Room and toilet a bit too dark, No safe in room and musty smell in wardrobes I stayed there for 3 days. The location was good because it was nearby to Ximen MRT and Ximending's main shopping area. The front desk service staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable to answer our questions on transportation to place of interest.
The room and toilet were very clean but a bit too dark. The housekeeping lady was also very friendly which always welcomed us and even reminded us to bring along a sweater during typhoon days.
Lastly, there is a computer in the hotel restaurant which provide free internet surfing and online check-in for flight.
Overall are very good, I'll definately stay there for my next trip to Taipei.

Friendly staffs, helpful. Clean enviroment and request made are response promptly. Keys to rooms which are to be return whenever occupant went out might be given wrongly if the occupant gave his room number wrongly when they return because the staff will not remember or recognized each occupant. Strongly propose to change to card keys and kept by the occupant for security measure. Not sure if there is any food stall available in the cafeteria as i went there only one time and the area is also not well lit. Think the hotel can consider to include breakfast in its package thereby utilizing its cafeteria as most of the shops around the area will not be open till 10am making the morning meal a hassle. However, the staffs make up for the short comings with their courtesy and helpful advice when required and fast response whenever requests is made. Overall, it has been a pleasant stay and will be back again on my next visit.
Shopping Tip : The hotel lies just next to the heart of the shopping streets in XiMenDing, there are also a number of mini-marts around the area. Shopping is a breeze and so are night snacks.

Walking distance to shopping distance, Free Internet Access in Room Hotel is located at strategic location , within walking distance to shopping district. Hotel Staff are friendly and helpful in addressing my needs such as recommending sightseeing spot and local specialty food. Complementary Internet Access in room is added advantage to keep connected with the world while traveling. Thumbs Up for putting a water dispenser in room.

Very convenient location near ximen MRT, good service Hotel is located less than 10 mins walk from Ximen MRT. Very convenient. Overall, the hotel staff is very friendly and there is free internet access (only 1 PC) at the B1 restaurant.

Good location, near Ximenting MRT station and Red House, gay area. Royal Castle hotel is located in a good location, just walking distance to Ximenting MRT station, Red House, gay area, walking street. The hotel quite small, but in good condition. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. They should put some chairs in the lobby, very useful for guest and for decoration.Thank you, I will come back next time.

Good location and relatively near to the Ximen MRT Considering the price, this hotel is value for money. Ximending's full of youth orientated shops and tasty snacks and I would recommend staying in this hotel. The decoration's not exactly the best but it won't affect your stay much, breakfast buffet has limited choices as well.

Walking distance to Metro and great shopping in Ximending. greed before (average) service I was dismayed that they charged me for early check-in. Because of my flight schedule, I arrived at around 9am. I was told to come back at 2pm. (I don't remember seeing any restriction about this when I booked a room.) I was only in Taipei for a two-day stop-over, yet they expected me to spend half a day waiting for the check-in. Eventually, they said if I pay extra (close to NT$ 600), then I can have a room right away. So, having a reservation starting the day I went to check in, and having a room available the time I arrived wasn't enough for them to accommodate me without unreasonably charging me extra.
