Toileteries... They use L'Occitane!!!
The hotel was super clean. The staff was very very helpful. Normally English is not much spoken in Taiwan but the hotel staff could give us useful information about transportation and food very well. The toilet was large and was cleaned everyday. New L'occitane toleteries were replaced everyday too. Wi fi internet was available and if that does not work, they will give you a LAN line. Final words...money well spent!
Restaurant Tip : Din tai fung.

Seasons Hotel Royal is the new phase of the Classic. Its carpet and room is clean. The toilets, jacuzzi, shower room and vanity is exactly the same as our home so we feel we are totally at home including the supply of L'Occitane products which is one of our favorite. There is a gym in the basement for those who need to check out late to have a shower. There is about 4 set breakfast to choose for those who are not a breakfast person. The reception and conceirge personnel are very helpful and friendly and alert on checking guests going up to their room to ensure that they are non-guests. Free flow of bottled water everyday in the room and at the lobby for guests who may need to bring along in case they forgotten to pick or need to purchase. Useful brochures at the lobby for tourists and others alike on moving around Taipei and other parts of Taiwan. Definitely will recommend to people who would like to stay at this hotel. Free shuttle service to the Main and MRT Stations.
The hotel is not directly opposite the Taipei Main Railway/MRT Station. It is about 15 - 20 minutes walk. In the day it is easier to find one way but comes nightfall it is not safe to walk in small roads and tendency to lose one's way back to the hotel. Small eateries down the street and convenient 7-11 for those who need it.
Good for business and tourists alike to stay at this hotel. Those with young children not advisable if they wish to walk to and from the station after the shuttle service. No shopping departmental store nearby. Polite, helpful and courteous front personnel including those in the dining area. There is no restaurant in the hotel for those who wish to dine in.
Hotel Feature Tip : Jacuzzi and separate shower room, good quality Kohler toilet and L'Occitane toileteries and other supplies. Shower room for late guest check out at the gym in the basement.

Old and dirty rooms, very noisy, more like a very cheap budget hotel.
This hotel is really what you would expect from a very cheap hotel to be. But unfortunately its not cheap. The worst value for money I ever stayed in my live! I had many business to do so had no time to switch to other hotel, otherwise I had done that directly when arriving.
Travel tip : Do not go here!

Bathroom especially have jaguzzi
Seasons Hotel Royal Taipei is a good hotel because it is situated not far from Taipei Station. Because of this advantage, going to sightseeing spot areas is really convenience.
I am very surprised to know that Seasons Hotel Royal hotel bathroom is having jaguzzi for each room. This make the trips more perfect and relaxation after tired days.

Beautiful room, well furnished, jacuzzi bath tub.
Unlimited bottled water available to guests. Very substantial breakfast.
What a wonderful stay we had at the Seasons! We gasp with delight upon walking into a luxuriously furnished room with plenty of lighting. There was a flat screen plasma TV that you can watch from the king bed or the jacuzzi tub which has a glass window into the room. Linens were of excellent quality, real feather pillows and down comforter. We had the best sleep for the 3 nights stay on our entire 3 week trip. The rain shower head in the separate shower area was a delight. There was plenty of storage in the bath vanity, which is the first we have ever experienced. We were able to completely unpack our bath accessories which is amazing as I tend to carry quite a bit of makeup etc. Even the tea service was very nice, beautiful little cups and saucer, nice selection of teas.
Our night receptionist, Daisy, is a sweetheart and was so wonderfully helpful. She found a 24 hour tea shop for us, help us locate out first night market experience, directed us to a very nice local breakfast nook in the wall for our last morning. She spoke excellent English, a huge bonus, as the morning staff was not as eloquent. Service from all was excellent. Highly recommended for a luxuriously stay at really reasonable prices.

I was surprised that there was no dinner available when I checked in, nor were there any vending machines or any other options. It was my own fault for not confirming that they had a restaurant, but I assumed (foolishly) that a hotel providing a full breakfast would also have restaurant facilities. I ended up ordering from Pizza Hut, of all places, which was the ONLY option I was given when I asked the front desk. (I discovered three small restaurants within easy walking distance the next morning, but they had no English menus.) Although the Pizza Hut food ended up being surprisingly good and interesting (lobster and abalone pizza with a spicy fish roe sauce!), I had to figure out how to order myself -- the front desk gave me a number written on a piece of paper, no help with ordering, and no menu. Thank goodness for the Internet where I was able to find the Taiwanese Pizza Hut menu! I also felt that the front desk staff could have done much more to help me find and/or order food.
The front desk was no help at all when I requested assistance with packing, wrapping and mailing a box. I understand that they do not provide packing, wrapping or mailing services, but I did expect a little direction or help.
However, I think my biggest frustration was when I decided to book a single night upon my return to Taipei, on my way home. The receptionist assured me TWICE that the price for the additional night would be the same as my booking through Agoda. When I arrived late in the evening for my second stay, the price was considerably more than for my first stay, and I was told "there is nothing we can do...this is the walk-in rate." I understand that Agoda gets special rates, but if I'd known I would pay more, I would have booked a hotel much closer to the airport and not come back to the Seasons Royal.
Hotel Feature Tip : Yes, each room really does have a jacuzzi, complete with rainbow lights!

Transportation may be an issue, but that's more a factor of the city than the hotel. The hotel runs a mini-bus service to the airport and it is reasonably priced. Excellent choice business and leisure travelers alike.
