I highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious stay. We were dazzled by the view. The fresh fruit and orchids in the room were a nice touch. I wished they'd had a better instant coffee and cream available in the room though. I'd prefer Starbucks.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Got to the 43rd floor for tea and to get a breathtaking view of Taipei 101.

Good stay during New Year's Period

We stayed for 2 nights during the New Year period. I thought the hotel was close to the Taipei 101 but it was actually a bit far. We booked a count down party at the Horizon Club lounge to watch the fireworks.
The hotel itself is big and the lobby was very well decorated to celebrate Christmas and New Year. Check-in was smooth but since it was a busy period we only got a room on the 9th floor not facing the 101.
Our room was big and so was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable but the tv was a bit small for a 5 star hotel.
We went to the pool on the day that we left and the view from the rooftop was amazing.
