Very comfortable hotel
Clean rooms, big bathroom and a friendly staff.

We were three friends staying in a triple room. It was quite spacious and included three actual beds, not an added cot like some hotels do. The TV was a 32 inch flat screen and had a long list of satellite television, including movie channels. The bathroom had a separate shower and bath, as well as all of the usual amenities. The staff were very accommodating and gave good recommendations of local restaurants and shops. All in all, a very pleasant stay!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It's not a very long walk to Ximen or the Main station. Plenty of interesting things to see on the way.

Nice room with reasonable price

Reasonable pricing, the room is nice, free wifi, and well equip with necessary facilities such as fitness room. However, it is a bit far from most of the tourist attractions.

Value for money but location may not be good

Like the title suggests, it was a good stay. Bought the rooms through agoda, which was very value for money considering that the room is quite, modern looking and so is the hotel.
Exceeded expectations in terms of quality of room and exterior of the hotel.
Only drawback is that it may not be really convenient unless your main aim of stay is to head for ximending. But there isn't really that much to do there anyway. Probably will not stay in the hotel again because of the location. Will like to stay somewhere nearer to xinyi.

it's my third time to stay in this hotel for my business trip. every time i booked this hotel cause all the similar tier's hotels (4 stars) were fully-booked or over-priced. the prices of this hotel is pretty stable. i don't put this hotel in my first priority choices cause the location is really inconvenience. sometimes i prefer to take mrt in order to avoid the traffic, but
the mrt station is pretty far away. further, there are no good restaurant nearby, and the hotel food outlet is not really suitable for the business dinner. but in general, this hotel is having good room size, clean, good service and cheap. if you want something more convenience and luxury, this hotel is not your choice.
Nightlife Tip:
nothing nearby, don't expect too much for the hotel's neighborhood.

This was fourth time stayed in Taipei Garden. The room was big and clean. Staffs were professional and friendly.

The check-in process was rather unpleasant - we had booked a triple room for 3 persons online but was given a twin room with an extra bed instead. It took quite some time for the reception to resolve this but we were given another room with 3 beds eventually.
Shopping Tip:
Hotel is about 5 min walk to the nearest mrt station (xiao nan men) which is 1 stop away from the shopping area in xi men ting. Taxis are however very easily available from the hotel if you choose not take the mrt.
