Good location, friendly staff

I booked this hotel for my aunt and her friends a day before they checked in as their tour agency messed up their hotel booking in Taipei. When she checked in, the front desk presented her with a birthday cake as they noticed beforehand that it was her birthday that day. The rooms are clean and fresh smelling. The location is great too as it is less than 10 minutes walk to Ximending, a mrt stop away from Taipei main station where they need to take a train to other parts of Taiwan. They ended up taking a taxi to the main station and the ride was about 5 minutes only. In addition, it is only a few mrt stops to Shilin night market, Longshan temple and not too many stops away from Sogo, Taipei 101.After experiencing some screw ups during their trip, they were very pleased to stay in a pleasant hotel at a good location with nice staff. They will finitely stay there again and i will book a stay there the next time i travel to Taipei.

Friendly staff, great food, the room is decent, but not great.

Location is far away from taipei 101, but ideal for business traveler who's activity is in the eastern area of taipei, but the nearby ShiMenDing local attraction (about 20-30min walk) is also a bit too far from this hotel.

Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet. Es gab die Möglichkeit, Kaffee zu kochen. das Zimmer war sauber, das Bad modern gestaltet mit Dusche und kleiner Wanne.
Das Personal war außerordentlich höflich und hilfsbereit. Die angegliederten Restaurants hatten eine gute Qualität und ein breites Angebot.Insgesamt kann man das Hotel gut empfehlen.

I found the my first non smoking room to be a little smoky. They were happy to change it immediately and offered a small selection of fruit by way of an apology. The second room had been given a hasty lemon spray but was ok. The windows are sealed so guess it is a real problem for the hotel when a guest smokes in a non smoking room. Beds were a little too firm for my liking. Occasionally live music in the lobby and a few 'Real' sprigs of foliage in the bathroom does not warrant 5 stars in my book. Attentive and polite staff, OK location and OK sums it up as far as my stay was concerned.
