After going around the Ximen area looking for the hotel (and asking 5 locals including a policeman and a taxi driver who speaks very very minimum English/zero English, and 1 friendly German tourist)for more than an hour, I arrived at the hotel wet (it was raining), frustrated (since the directions online were not specific enough; the map given me at the airport was in Chinese characters)and anxious (the hotel's ground floor lobby is shabby since it was a common area together with several retail stores). Good thing, I saw the hotel GM, Spencer, on the alley & he pointed the hotel to me. Lory who welcomed me knew how best to deal with me, gave me excellent customer service. She even helped out in amending the dates of my stay w/o any additional charges. The staff in general are friendly and solicitous. They started on an excellent note from the day I arrived, and was consistent with providing superior customer service.

The only downside is our room bed sheets is a bit worn out. Will definitely come back again.
